I've rented one for a trip to northern Italy in September. Curious how the suspension felt load with luggage, the leg positioning on long rides and the windscreen at higher speeds.
    Thanks 👍

It was realy fine. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of wind screen in highways.

@@orpaztron That's what everyone is saying. Why BMW didn't address this is beside me. I'll have to deal with what it comes with. I'll keep my face shield down at higher speeds. 🙏

I'm renting a 750GS from hertzrental this July from Milan and planning to do the same. How was the clutch lever? I have an injury on left hand and if clutch pull too hard, it tires it out. I currently have a Tracer 900 in USA with slipper clutch, so I'm hoping it is similar feel.

There are several GS ADV 750 models from same year. Mine had a quickshifter that eliminates much of the "clutch work". In any case, the handle was soft - maybe thanks to a hydraulic clutch but I'm not sure. you better check with the renting agency first. A sliding clutch is not related to the difficulty of pressing the lever, it's just prevents rear wheel from locking during aggressive downshifts.
BTW- If you return to Milan on the way to the Alps, I recommend planning the return route in different ways because the roads that surround the lakes are amazing. Passo Giovo is also recommended:

@@orpaztron Thank you for the response. Yes, I'm aware that the softness not necessarily correlate with the slipper, but I did read it has an hydraulic clutch so I'm hopeful it will be manageable. I did inquire about the quick shifter, but they were not able to confirm at this time whether the one I would be given would have it installed. I plan to go east to Riva del Garda area first, then north west to the Stelvio and loop back to Milan through Como.

The motorbike is rented from Italy but I get the point. I didn't bought a motorcycle or car made in Germany and never will.
