Awe… I love that you’re watching from Greece. My father was born there. Sadly, I have never been, but I am planning a trip in the next couple of years. Good morning! I would put a plant, maybe a fern in that first basket, still next to the tub! And yes, the pig board for charuterie is everything!! My grandparents had a teal version of the orange enameled stacking tins. My grandpa kept his jewelry in it.

I love how you touch everything! I'm 50 and just realized what a tactile learner I am. When I shop with my husband, he's always like, "Why are you touching everything?!" 😆
I have always been a tactile learned. There are some things I won’t touch because of the feel.
I hear my mothers words “ look with your eyes not your hands “ and put mine behind my back
You can learn so much about an object by touching it - how heavy it is - the heavy the object for it’s size, the better quality. Is it chipped or cracked etc.

Good Sunday Morning Karen! The Heart style basket was beautifully crafted & so aesthetically pleasing. Once you were in the jewellry section ~ I was a goner! Couldn't remember anything from before ~ lol! The lighting in there was terrific capturing all the shine & sparkle!
My own dear English Mother loved her costume jewellry & had drawers of it. I was lost in that section & didn't want you to leave. The displays were so well curated! Have a wonderful week Karen!

The brass swans that you saw when you walked in the door, stole my heart. Love them! In addition to Goodwill and Habitat ReStores, consignment shops with 75% off prices, are a great source for thrifty. Not only can you find nice clothes, but also jewelry and hard goods. As a vendor with three booths in an antique and thrift mall, I really enjoyed seeing how other vendors display their items and how their walls look. I’m always looking for new ideas for my booths and you really came through for me in this video. Happy Valentine’s Day to you and Roger, You are both sweethearts❤❤!

I absolutely share your thoughts on going into stores where they're too clean, organized, neat, and vignetti. The art of thrifting is the pleasure we take in uncovering the treasures, down on our hands and knees rooting in the back of shelves, boxes, under other things. I usually avoid a store once the proprietors start cleaning it up and organizing it because it's no longer fun to shop there.
Oh my that little blue pig broach is so cute. Who doesn't love a good pig. lol
We cook a lot around here and wash everything in an original farm sink. When you have a busy kitchen, you learn all about dishes! Cheap dishes like Gibson chip easily. Good dishes like Franciscan chip, but not easily. I think that is why stoneware is becoming so popular - it is almost indestructible!

Karen, the stacked orange layered thing is a kitchen canister. They were made in avocado green too. The last beaded necklace you got looks like carnelian stone.

The same trip that I got to experience Lucky Dog, I also got to shop the Reuzit in New Holland! I sat in the parking lot waiting for them to open and got to quietly join the morning prayer they share before they open.

I just received the USMC blanket I ordered. It is so beautifully packed! I want to learn to be a reseller, but I don’t think I could ever learn how to fold a blanket as perfect as you! There was a cute little card inside which I quickly opened. I then realized it was for the new owner of the blanket, my father. I carefully placed the card back just as it was sent. Hoe very sweet that you added a thank you card for “his service”. That will make him so happy!

I'm sure you're aware, however, I was in a thrift store the other day, saw and item I've never seen before.
Another shopper mentioned an app for my phone entitled Lens All you do is take a pic of them item and immediately identifies as well as gives sources of comps.
I feel that nook with the particle board was put together by someone who watches your show.

Thanks for sharing those garden photos from Long Island. Zone 7 would be a dream gardening zone as I am in zone 5a in southern Wisconsin. However, I am presprouting ranunculus and anemones today so I still get to enjoy growing flowers that aren't hardy here. Wondering what happened to my first comment? Some nice finds, especially was thrilled that you picked up a necklace I made several years ago, the brown and pearl one with AC Moores beads called Jesse James. Glad my necklace will be reused!
I think that dresser maybe ship furnishings due to its shape . Ie it wouldn’t easily tip.

My mother had a full size real stuffed peacock that sat in her living room and I hated it! It was very colorful and beautiful, but it just creeped me out...I even hated walking past it and I definitely hated seeing it at night. She had it for years and everybody wanted to buy it from her and she finally sold it.
