Nope after the showcase and the gameplay footage they revealed last week, it was an absolute mess and disaster. I understand we’re still in an Alpha state, but imagine this development took more than 3 years since when this game first teased, it looked it was never paid off. And after the Gollum disaster which was the same publisher who are also gonna publish this game, I have little to no to 0 doubts that this game will flop massively.
@@hero6405lll games are buggy mess at launch and comparing it to gollum just because it's the same devs is just a piss poor excuse. Gollum failed because it was boring and looked like trash. TDU is far better than the forza games since you have more freedom. Forza games look cheap/downgraded like the crew games and nowhere good as the tdu games.
@@Just-Ignore-It_88 Nacon is actually the publisher that publishes both the Gollum and Solar Crown. Also have you not played Forza games just because they’re trash? That has to be one of the biggest jokes I have ever seen. Sure, not everyone will agree with me, but with FH games, there’s so much you can do when it comes to freedom. Yes, the Horizon games have been steadily stagnating, but at the end of the day, it’s still a great experience to check no matter what kind of person you are.
I really hope they change the speedometer while in third person. It should be like in tdu2 that every car has it's own distinct one, it gives more character to each car you drive

Been playing TDU2 again recently and it's kinda sad that a game that old still holds the crown as the best open world racer tbh, but hey at least we'll be getting some new contenders soon. I just hope a lot of people can look past the "worse graphics" because I think the gameplay will make up for the lack of perfection in graphics.
If you said TDU1, your statement would've been a bit more credible

@@quest8447 I'd very strongly recommend getting TDU 1 and installing the platinum mod, it updates the graphics and physics and adds about 800 new cars, it's phenomenal, driving feels way better than TDU2. Or if you don't game on PC at least get TDU1 and try it, the XBOX 360 graphics haven't aged that badly it's playable, and has better driving mechanics than TDU2.

Ngl, when you mentioned the radio in TDUSC has adverts, I suddenly thought of another game set in hong kong that has a similar feature, Sleeping Dogs

I wouldn't be surprised if TDUSC took inspiration from Sleeping Dogs for the Hong Kong setting, and then thought "hey, radios would be cool!"

@@yannickvaz694 The radio in TDU2 had ads and TDU1 also had multiple radio stations, in fact I think TDU1 is the oldest racing game I can think of with radio stations.

I wish DLC came out rather than microtransactions. For example, large DLCs such as Hawaii DLC, Ibiza DLC, Dubai DLC. I heard that TDU2 original map was Dubai.

BeamNG is not the only game with a true automatic gearbox.
NFS Rivals also has this system, if you drive with low acceleration then the car you’re driving actually shifts in lower rpms but as soon as you kick down on the accelerator you go back to lower gears for more speed.
The only game I’ve played which I know has this system is BeamNG and NFS Rivals, there might be others but I just don’t know since I haven’t seen any other games that I have played have this system.

i hope we can get rid of the fingerprints on displays.. imagine you would have to wash your car and can choose to do it your self or pay an "ai-cleaner" to do it.. defenitly would enjoy driving my irl car but it's long ago it was added in an video game sadly :/

Im convinced if The Crew 2 updated their driving physics and sterring animation to TCM physics and anims itd be the greatest TDU ever made - ivory tower NEEDS to do something with the USA map. It has some of the greatest driving roads and weather/ambience in any driving game

TDU SC is in a whole genre of it's own. That is that it's better than any modern car/racing game in every possible way. It's the game that NFS, Forza Horizon and The Crew will never be. It's bringing life back into world of car games. Life that had been long-lost since the early days of NFS and Midnight Club. TDU SC is the car game to get. It may not have the same popularity of a NFS, FH, The Crew game or a modern racing game but it doesn't need to as it's already significantly better than all 3 franchises combined. It's everything I want from a car game. It's the first proper car game since the 2000's. I can't wait for the release. I also wonder how much it'll cost but whatever the price it'll definitely be worth it as opposed to spending over 1000 cash (at least in my country - this is about $60) for a car game that either has an extremely short story (ahem NFS Heat) that'll be forgotten after a few months or it being rushed.

I do this for sim racing like GranTurismo and Assetto Corsa but in arcade or simcade games I often listen to the game's own soundtrack as it fits the vibe of the game usually. The exception is Forza Horizon 5, I use spotify there because the in game music is all trash.

The fh5 map feels tiny cause the roads are way too big, they really should make them more narrow for fh6, and it adds up for the sense of speed
NFS MW 2012 also had a great automatic gearbox

What Makes me a bit sceptical is that they showed a alpha version. After 7 years developed two push backs. The presentation looked to staged. I have a bad feeling overall.
@@crazyfrog9877 TDU games tend to take ages to develop, and nowadays games take overall longer to develop anyway (if you're developing from scratch), the long wait and delays encourages me that we'll get a more complete game. There's no way the game won't release now that there's been a playable demo and they've invited youtubers in to test it.

You must be hi how are you to think forza can be toppled from its perch, all it has to do is wait and see than update if they need to fix any shortcomings so chillax bro.
After Motorfest and TDUSC the player count will fall alot when those games release, horizon is outdated by now. They have been keeping the same festival theme since day one and the game gives you everything for free in wheelspins thats why it gets boring after a couple of hours
Add the fact that TDUSC is going to be 18+ because of gambling, use of alcohol, so it's not a game for horizon 5 toddlers and so far the game looks great but there are things to be polished and KT and Nacon will make it, then we will get a truly great succesor for TDU 2 😊

This might come across a bit cynical, but I'm not hyped for TDU:SC any more. The first live gameplay reveal was a total disaster, from the presentation itself to the displayed graphics and handling. Last small update with the "cruise trailer" depicted at least partly what TDU was once about. But I'm still not sure if KT will deliver on their promises, first and foremost because they're KT. They treat their employees like shit as just emerged a while ago, and the WRC games they've made weren't really good either.
TDU:SC doesn't have to beat Forza Horizon right away, and I'm pretty sure it won't ever be able to do it, mainly because Horizon took over the sandbox-multiplayer racing game side when TDU 2's legacy came to an end. And the latest updates to FH5 added lots of replay value with the updated EventLab and other things, not to mention that apart from the recycling, this game's quality is really high. Something I can't say for sure for KT to match with the new TDU:SC, or at leat come close to it.
I guess there's still some reason to believe that TDU:SC won't be as bad is it might've looked like some months ago, with The Crew Motorfest being more of an arcadey memefest than anything else, which eliminates one promising opponent already. Plus I'm not sure if PGG will continue to bombard FH5 with good and/or big updates once FM8 will be released. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if KT can finally deliver something worth playing for once.
fh5 has no replayability bruh have fun with 1 new prop in eventlab every decade, and forza motorsport is just a joke. just wait until tdusc becomes the next game.
My hope for TDU-SC dies with every new piece of news that comes out. And I don't see any improvement in sight for Forza Horizon either.

I hopes for a huge map like the first two TDU games but after seeing The Crew Motorfest which has a similar map size to Horizon 5 I have confidence it's possible to make a good racing game map of this size.
The core of a driving game is physics and tdu solar crown has wonky physics just like tdu and tdu2, i have played both. Forza on the other hand has top physics and graphics as well.

Nice video man. But how u can say that FH5 is Arcade? As I saw from videos so far TDU is arcade looks more like NFS and The crew games. FH5 is at least simcade, when somebody nails the driving physics like FH5 does wake me up. FH just need the big city and some life.

Now I can name things forza does better. Since you want to do this video when all we’ve seen from tdu is like a 25 minute gameplay vid. Forza has miles better graphics, way better and bigger car list, bigger map, better online, better engine sounds, more events, better end game content, monthly updates/expansion, better online system, better physics, way better to name a few. It’s also fun that you call forza horizon 5 a ”arcade”and tdu a ”simcade” when it’s the other way around 😂 never have I ever heard someone called forza horizon a pure arcade, it has always been called a simcade. At this point you should rename your channel to ”hating on forza” or something like that. You see a 2 minute gameplay of a game and be like ”8758 things … does better than forza” you seem to forget forza horizon has been on the top of open world racing games for years. Also alot of your points in your vid is not even accurate. The last point about the radio for example. You say the radiohost’s nearly never talks. Even tho they pretty much talk after every song. It’s a good enough sign to me that you are talking without any information about how features and so on actually work

He's just making a speculation video for the hype, of course we can't know which game does things better until TDU is fully released. I think TDU will excel in the car lifestyle stuff such as visiting dealerships and speccing cars with irl options, as well as a better progression system. Whereas Forza will probably still have better physics and obviously way more cars+better online. Of course my points here are also speculation.

FH5 easily does most of these things better. TDUSC is no match for FH5, it doesn't even come close to all that FH5 has to offer and does way better.
