9:07 One thing I like about when Apple does compare to the other option, they mention the testing methodology and what they used (it's written in small print at the end of their product pages).
That is an impressive analysis! What strikes me is that there is no way Samsung, Xiaomi and the rest do not know this...or that they lack the resources but still they do not even attempt to pull it off. I remember watching Steve Jobs talk about things and he always had a story to tell. What amazes me is to think whatever systems and process he built to make sure Apple's marketing always put the story at the centre has survived him. SOme legacy that for those that realize how rare and incredible that is. Perhaps some credit is due to Tim Cook for this, certainly. Funny thing is, I've never been tempted to buy or use Apple products ever but I find the company and it's story(s) fascinating. Much to learn but perhaps not emulate.
I LOVE that the quality of your videos increase with each upload! The way your voice becomes more and more enthusiastic sounding with each and the way you're always to the point and quick with your points.
The telling of the story as well as high production value matters a lot to me. This also why I follow people like you on TH-cam, when I watch a video, it’s not just about I formation, I can read that in a much shorter time on a website, I watch for entertainment too. So good quality clear video and sound matter for me to spend my time on your content. So with you already doing this and understanding it’s importance, keep it up Arun.
The comparison of the phone you mentioned reminds me of a writing trick where they'll show a really big guy the hero has a hard time beating, just for an even bigger guy to come in and smash the original off the map. Essentially it's a power transfer that makes the new guy that much more intimidating.
To be fair, i think there is a point to say about the clear distinction from apple events pre and during/post lockdowns. Before they were getting rather stale with the ugly powerpoint presentation but now they are really high quality and special when they switched to premade videos.
I don't care about reveal events other than one thing. The date of release. That way I can know roughly when tech youtubers get their hands on it and give an honest review instead of someone being paid by the company talking about how great the product is.

One of the things that blew my mind about the company was when they announced the effort they had gone to to cater for wheelchair users using the Apple Watch ie. studying algorithms to let people still use the fitness features. Incredible.
You're a company, not my brother I'm meeting after a while. This is the sentiment I've always had about Apple's launch events. This video just brought my sentiment into words.
I think the biggest reason why Apple events are different it’s because they “invented” them. From the Mac introduction in 1984, to the return of Steve Jobs, the launch of the first iMac, the launch of the iPod, or iPhone… All of those were iconic. But, more importantly, Steve Jobs. He was the best doing these events and, even though now they’re completely different, people are still pulled into.
Arun, you always produce such high quality excellent videos and they are so good that within 20 minutes of upload I’m there watching the video, especially the proposal video was so well though and well planned 😊 can’t thank you more.
The Apple 14 commercial that has the mom chasing down her son while filming the whole time, is one of the best commercials I have seen. I even said something after watching it the first time. They should be proud of that one
I grew up being "Anti apple" and i still never bought an apple product. This goes way back, when buying a GPU to apple cost about 3x as much as it did for my windows system. Pricing is a lot better these days, but not being able to pick and choose what i want makes apple products still uninteresting for me.
Eh, same goes for most OEMs. Unless you're building a PC by yourself from scratch, complete customisability is practically non-existent these days, which sucks
@@smartsidetech no i mean m a gamer and im an Android developer.. Thats y, i like to tinker stuff also need a lot of custom things.. Never want to be in one restricted system
I don’t really watch the Apple event because sometimes it’s too long, but it is cool to watch with the music at the background and the good warmth welcome feeling
I always watch Apple Events, despite the fact that I only own one Apple product (my iPhone 12, before that 6s, before that 5c, all second hand from family and not bought myself) and that I have no intention of purchasing another Apple product any time soon. They're just some of the best tech related entertainment and a nice way to kick back and relax after a long day.
I had an iPhone 10, and after watching the event, seeing the insane camera, the chipset, and the dynamic island, and also the fact that IOS 16 was my last major update made me get the 14 pro, apple did a good job to sell a phone

Honestly I love the online keynotes. Of course the old keynotes had its charm but these online ones at Apple HQ are wonderful because they have really slick transitions, great animation and presentations and catchy music. It’s honestly fun to watch them.
I think whatever we think about a brand, their events or products is just in our head. If you love a brand, you would always see the best things about them and not the little wrong things about them.
True. But not all people think like this. Many people can still think objectively. No matter what brand it is, if the brand does not give them the best benefit, they will leave the brand. For example, I left Samsung because I notice Xiaomi give the best feature and specs at a more affordable price. But then again, each person is to themselves.

It just makes you want to watch all your videos but I already did 😭. Love the content❤.
Really great breakdown. Makes one understand why and how Apple are good at their craft. The word ‘craft’ even makes sense in this context given the attention to detail and execution by the Silicon Valley giant
The green screen effects in this video were truly AMAZING! Great information as well, the green screen shots definitely helped convey the message you were trying to get across. Great work Arun!
Apple’s method of guarding its development process by allowing people to know only the piece they’re working was used used 400 years ago by Shakespeare who only gave each actor his own lines along with the corresponding cues. He did this to prevent anyone from stealing his material and passing it off as their own. Apparently great minds, in this case Will and Steve, really do think alike. Brilliantly entertaining presentation, as always.
From a psychological perspective it's truely amazing how good they are at continuing to lead their flock. They keep their fans hooked like a teenage boy on a date with the "love of his life", and similarly under their thumb too. Again in similar ways the fan would never admit this either or if coaxed admit it in accepting defeat. It truly is the mental tech equivalent of love relationship turned controlling and manipulating relationship. Oddly ask fans about it in this context and it's unacceptable 😅
Apple fanboys are as dumb as every other fanboy out there... Dont matter if your fanboy of apple, samsung, windows, linux, tesla, chevrolet or whatever... Its never the smart move to be a fan of a brand
@@justinkrok3155 dude, marketing is based on psychology research 😂. So, its not rare to think that. Everyone is in a certain way manipulated by marketing.
Actually Apple changed the presentation when Covid-19 went viral… But it is true and some parts were true before! I also really enjoy watching the presentations for the jokes and all those little things. It is great! Apple really nailed presentation. Actually I never know, when the competitors are having a presentation and to be honest, most of the time I also don’t care too much. But Apple keynote is a date I save to be sure to watch live!
My elder brother used to watch and learn from Steve Job's key notes for his uni presentations. Like how Steve never looked at the slides while changing.
1:07 it feels like that can’t be the explanation since the transitions and even doing it at the headquarters is recent compared to the success of the events. At Apple these events are a great moment to show what everyone is working on and is a lot of responsibility to make them great 😊
You know Apple events communicate so well that even Android fanboys easily remember what they said then meme them, while they forget most of things in android phones events beside raw specs number. That's why after tech events: - Apple events: people literally talking about most highlighted features. - Android phones events: chip, camera, screen.
Androids are like gaming pcs. All android flagships (except for pixels) bank on their raw performance, which is why chips and benchmark scores are the most talked-about things ever
I like how apple shows you the inside of their devices sometimes as well. Think taptic engine, IBIS, faceID etc. They do these graphics that show you the nitty gritty parts inside the device. Their devices are so expertly crafted both outside and inside so they aren't shy to show you what's inside. I mean just look at a picture of the inside of an S23 Ultra vs the inside of an iPhone 14 Pro.
One of the most AMAZING videos and explanations I have ever seen!! 🔥🔥🔥 The direction of the video is brilliant 👏 I interacted with all ads to support your amazing work!!! Many thanks for sharing 👍
I love how every video which focuses on some topic or company has the entire background themed around it. I feel very comfortable tuning into your videos as well, Arun. Thank you for the content which "infotains" me for 15-20 minutes a day xD
Also, I'd like to point out *how* the speakers say their lines. They're very slow and adaptive to speaking. It's as if you are talking with them. One thing about that is that it makes you feel somewhat comfortable because of the scenery, lighting, plant-placing, and more. The wallpapers also shown in the devices (whether a Mac or an iPhone) have color meanings behind it. Take a look at the iPhone 14 Pro. They used a purple wallpaper, a color that has been marked for centuries as a "royal" color, which gives this look that the iPhone 14 Pro that "This phone looks expensive but you and mostly everyone can afford it.", which also gives a sense of *you* into it.
The more I look at these, the more I think every little, seemingly insignificant detail has a purpose and cannot comprehend, how they pay attention to even the smallest ones 🤯
Pre covid apple also making their events in a basement, due to covid restrictions apple got creative with their presentations by showing of their HQ, drone shots, introducing audience as Animojis, the cinematography, transitions and color grading was top notch. Now they’re producing the best ever presentations especially the October 2k23 event which was shot on iPhone blew my mind.

But they make it in a better way
To be honest most of what they do it is the first time, because any other attempts in the past were either low quality or abandoned😂
@@Ryukishi07hjj Funny that you say that, because thats what exactly what Apple makes you think.. and they very succesfull with that.. just look at your self

Correct
As a marketeer and tech fan this breakdown was amazing. A classic example of how resonating your messaging with the voc impacts consumer behaviour.
The comparison of the phone you mentioned reminds me of a writing trick where they'll show a really big guy the hero has a hard time beating, just for an even bigger guy to come in and smash the original off the map. Essentially it's a power transfer that makes the new guy that much more intimidating.
I don't know what I was expecting when I clicked on this video, but seeing Arun in his own version of Apple park definitely blew my mind 🤯
To be fair, i think there is a point to say about the clear distinction from apple events pre and during/post lockdowns. Before they were getting rather stale with the ugly powerpoint presentation but now they are really high quality and special when they switched to premade videos.
The best part is when tim comes up on stage and reinvents stuff

For me the best one is the AirPods Max one where with the asteroids etc. So cool!
I grew up being "Anti apple" and i still never bought an apple product. This goes way back, when buying a GPU to apple cost about 3x as much as it did for my windows system. Pricing is a lot better these days, but not being able to pick and choose what i want makes apple products still uninteresting for me.
Same here .. Never will buy apple since its of no use for me
Eh, same goes for most OEMs. Unless you're building a PC by yourself from scratch, complete customisability is practically non-existent these days, which sucks

They're just some of the best tech related entertainment and a nice way to kick back and relax after a long day.

U say it perfectly
True. But not all people think like this. Many people can still think objectively. No matter what brand it is, if the brand does not give them the best benefit, they will leave the brand.
For example, I left Samsung because I notice Xiaomi give the best feature and specs at a more affordable price.
But then again, each person is to themselves.

Yes
Lmao, facts

That's why after tech events:
- Apple events: people literally talking about most highlighted features.
- Android phones events: chip, camera, screen.
Chip, camera, screen?
Sounds like an iphone boot to me ;shrug;.
I agree it’s just chip camera screen lmao bad luck to android fanboys
To be fair chip, camera and the screen are all a lot more important then those little Apple features.
