The king and his brilliant Dewans have made Old Mysore State into one of the richest and most progressive states in India. During British times, only 4 kings in entire India were eligible for a 21 gun salute, Mysore was one of the four. During WW1, the Mysore mounted cavalry along with Jaipur and Hyderabad cavalry , mostly Vokkligas charged and liberated Haifa and destroyed Gernam and Turkish defences, almost whole cavalry got wiped out, led by Colonel Urs. Today Karnataka is full of outsiders and infiltrators , in decline since those glorious times

All that ghee which we can see which has been seeped into that newspaper. Unfortunately we dont see the chemicals which has been attracted to Mysuru Pak from the newspaper. Guru Sweets should find alternative ways to serve Mysuru Pak instead of using a newspaper.
That actually is not a newspaper... It is plain butter paper disguised as news paper to fool people who like eating food on newspapers 😋

Kripal this is so AMAZING vlog most of us go to Mysore but never ever once thought of its NAME how it has originated from Maheeshasura Ooru to Mysore thanks for this great piece of INFO. GI tags for Mysore Jasmine flower and Nanjangud banana great information. Food also shares rich cultural information that has been lost in todays e-world or virtual world. Yesterday I went to buy famous mysore paak from Guru sweets . . . . I bought Rs. 600/kg and the quality is completely pathetic. I feel it's fake hype. Local sweets shop serve better mysore paak than guru sweets.
Tried mutton pulav, brain masala, mutton chop @ Hanumananthu original . . .. food was really good.
