Visited Mysore palace with family ,when we were 7-8 years old.yes must visit again..n have that dosa :) mouthwatering..n also Mysore Pak..you were looking absolutely preety n fresh in this vlog..thanks desi girl for showing us the authentic food places..

Hi Priyanka one suggestion you should have visited the ksic store for mysore silk sarees, its from the govt and you get sarees at a very reasonable price .cauvery emporium is also from the govt but very expensive. You should have gone to KRS dam, Nagarhole sanctuary which is near mysore.nice vlog about Mysore, though i am from Bengaluru, i started liking Mysore after travelling there with my family. Its calm and less crowded. Bengaluru is a very busy place and of course its my all time favourite place since i am from there.
All the places you mentioned here didn’t allow the camera. If fact for the first time I felt authorities being so rude. I am never for breaking rules but a lot of the logic or harsh words gave me at the sanctuary, dam etc didn’t make any sense to me. So I focused of what felt beautiful to me :)
Oh ok dint know about this , the sanctuary and dam is beautiful thts why I told u to visit, your vlog on South india gives people a good idea about South.np we enjoy your vlogs

I loved touring this place Desigirl. I stayed at the Hotel Le Ruchi the Prince, beautiful hotel and the pool and breakfast is amazing in the hotel. Chandi hill temple, you have so little time to see the Murti cause the security pulls you out as there are to many people, the views of the city from the hill is fabulous. Mysore palace is way better then Buckingham palace. That Catholic church architecture I also enjoyed a lot. I also spent a day at Mysore zoo and then I went to brindavan gardens which is an hour away, you should have vlog that.
Mysore city, undoubtedly is one of best city in India. But unfortunately there is no big air connectivity that can connects Mysuru to major cities of India or say the world.
Your way of presenting the details is very good. Easily understand and ineresting. Expecting videos of sculpturs and the people of making it by wood and stone of mahabalipuram and kancheepuram. You can explore the temples and related artists of southern part of India. You may also visit the unexplored places of Kasargode and Kollam Districts of Kerala.
IN ALL TOURIST CENTERS_( Religious tourists included) the shops have a tradition to pay the INTRODUCERS, a percentage of purchases made by the tourist introd6ced to the shop..restaurant..textiles..curio shops..Bars..hotels..Taxi agencies.. etc. You may not get any ibdication of such existence as payment happens later. Now a days even through electronic payments. So that part is un avoidable.But if you do not like something do not fall a victim of persuation by fake friendliness or appreciation. Chek up prices first and buy later if item is reasonably costly.most shops do not accept returns ... Tourists are NOT REGULAR CUSTOMERS..so they can not do much harm if not satisfied...
As a mysorean I apologize to this lady... You were cheated by the auto rickshaw driver who took you to the duplicate Cauvery emporium shop... The original is run by Karnataka government and it's near the Mysore medical college... This one on bn road, near st philomena church belongs to some businessman...
I did contact the one you are recommending but they didn’t allow the camera. So I did visit it but no videos from there :) . I know what I have purchased is not 100% original Mysore silk. It’s a mixed one and that’s why the price is less
Basic price of a mysuru silk saree is at least 16,000/- so I guess what you got is not even an imitation. By the way I enjoy your videos, keep growing good luck.
Hi, I am watching your videos from last 2 months and one of your videos helped me to plan Madurai and Rameshwaram. Thanks for your videos. I stay in Bangalore and went to Mysore many times. I would recommend you to go Pujari Fish Land in Mysore. But make sure you go to authentic one as there are few more in same name
Mysore is really a beautiful place but my experience is quite bad. We went there in 2022 and it was a navratri night. The whole city was looking gorgeous as they were decorated with the lights. But there was no hotel room as each and every was totally prebooked. After searching for 2hrs we found a hotel and that is on the outskirts of the city. We paid 4000rs just for 10hrs and the hotel was not so good to take this high amount 🙂
Dear you have to book in advance during dasara time as it will be too crowded as Mysore is famous for its dasara festival, you can visit the place during July Aug it will be less crowded and you will get good hotel rooms and you need 2 days to explore this place and nearby places.

Mam, here are quite a few Mysore Saree shops with everyone claiming to be original. Better to go to 'Cauvery ' inside city
