@HosakaBlood yeah M4 is mostly around 25% faster and at times can get up to 30% faster. I think with future updates we will see a solid 30% performance improvement across the board, just as the M2 got better with updates. But yes, the M4 is definitely not 2x faster.

My guess is that m4 will get around 65-75 fps at peak. Especially since in both Genshin, RE4, and Village the M4 only has a 25% performance improvement.

Just my opinion, I would have recorded in the dark to appreciate more the OLED, also the numbers were overexposed. Nonetheless great insight and just the content I was looking for!
M2 iPad will drop performance overtime, but since this test was like a total of 25 minutes there was no throttle. But even still, the performance downgrade is very minor on the iPad M2 due to temps still remaining below 40c. The iPad Pro M4 will give you no throttle and the best battery. despite performance being around 20-25% better, I can definitely tell the chip can output more performance but held back by Apple's software and lack of optimization from game devs. In the future, definitely expect better performance gains on the M4.
Just a heads up, that the more reflective surface is, the worse / inconsistent outcome you'll get when measuring surface temperature. In this case i would opt out to measure the temperature on the back-side of the device as it has a matte finish or use matte screen protector on the display.
Both Genshin at 120 fps/1600p and these AAA PC ports at 1300p with Max/High graphics is very demanding. For reference, the PS4 can not keep a steady 60 fps at 1080p with RE4.
All mobile chips suffer from low RAM bandwidth even M4 with 120GB/s. Who has by far the fastest RAM compared to competition like Snapdragon 8 gen 3 with 77GB/s it still is to slow for games. PS4 has 176GB/s and PS4 Pro has 217.6 GB/s. RAM memory is huge bottleneck and will always be a problem even if CPU and GPU are a beast.
The m4 is didn't get so big performance pumb as the big efficiency pumb so it can run games a little bit better while staying much much cooler maybe the m5 will be overclocked so it can utilise its full power

With handcam or camera it will always be subjective. The best way is to see is in person. It all depends on lighting and and angle with cameras. But in-person the Oled is definitely better

That is the 16 GB model of the Ipad Pro 13 M4. That is a $1900 device. I just put together a computer with a 4080 Super and a 5800X3D WITH a 1440p monitor for $1900. That PC will DESTROY this iPad in gaming for that money. Gaming shouldn't even be a thought when talking about tablets.
Metal HUD is slightly more accurate. Perfdog works as well. However, it's limited to only working when plugged. For android on the other hand, it works wireless.

It runs much better than ROG ally and consumes much less power. iPad pro its around 15-20 watts. ROG is 45 - 50 watts.
