    Thank you
    Hi
    This BMW F11, came to me after an ABS sensor was installed, but it did not fixed the problem...
    A quick scan, revealed several faults with the braking system...
    Codes 4809C1 and 480A40 were all hard codes, that would not clear...
    After some checks and investigation... and I mean, proper investigation... LOL... found the issue...
    Follow me on this video to find out what was the problem and how to resolve it in this situation...
    Video for the coding of the DSC module:
    • BMW F10/F11 used DSC/A...
    Hope you enjoy the video.
    Any questions or comments put them below.

    Great video, there's ICOM Next clones for £185 on Ali with all cables and MOST adaptor - there's some resistors that need swapping from factory, but after fixing that they're decent - have all the info.

      Sure but note this is for the single newer type single pcb version only and you'll need a scope as they're mostly 0602 packages.
      This will also fix the memory size which shows as 128mb but should be 256mb as it would appear at the factory they mixed up the component feeds, some are the wrong way around and others have the incorrect value.

    What are BMW thinking, putting electronic modules so close to water from the wheel wells? It looks like they do this so you have to spend ££ to repair them. I have a 320D and there are modules all over the place.

    • @LMAutoRepairs
      @LMAutoRepairs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not quite...
      Traction control is to control the traction on the wheels, while the ESP is to control the car, obviously including traction, in case of skidding... although ESP system usually do traction control as well...

    What a mission. The more I see the less I like modern BMWs, what a silly place to put an ABS module. It's going to get very wet even if you do not drive through floodwaters. If you are going to have an F10 you may as well make it an M5, not worth the hassle for something with a third of the horsepower.

    • @LMAutoRepairs
      @LMAutoRepairs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I actually agree...
      LoL
      That said, not the first time BMW placed the ABS module here...

      As was no room in the engine bay for it...
