Simon Le Bon and Andy Taylor from Duran Duran playing acoustic versions of "Chains" and "Save A Prayer" on "NorthWest Afternoon" in Seattle, March 9, 2005. Chains 0:01 Chains 3:56 Save a Prayer
Great live performance which captures the talent of Duran Duran.......Andy should get over the musical differences and come back to the group which demonstrated what a great musician he is ... Simons vocals ... simply amazing...!
Andy plays and sings beautifully with Simon here. I love the chord voicings Andy brought to this song, as well as his vocal harmony. Duran Duran have always had beautiful harmonies, thanks to Simon's unusual approach and how good his voice sounds when layered against/with himself (as stated by Nick!!!)
Andy turned in a stellar performance. Simon's voice was clear and he and Andy blended their voices superbly.

Thats talent highly underrated band
So moving, Andy's guitar and voice.
I would have to say Simon has one of the best singing voices ever acoustically and Andy does an awesome rip on both songs!

It's fantastic! It would have been even better with a 12 string, isn't it?
I can't believe he explained what Chains is about....Simon never reveals this stuff!
oh, good point :)
I don't know why...but Simon's performance here has an Elvis feel to it. Early Ed Sullivan Elvis...his expressions not voice.
Andy has the best voice.
Too bad it did not work out with Andy Taylor continuing in Duran Duran.
Troy USA Andy likes his rock more than the dance stuff they were trying to do after this
What a voice, Simon!! Miss Andy... ❤

Can't believe it was eight years ago that Andy was still with Duran Duran.
Andy left the band in 2006 not 8 years ago.
