Being different has been a problem since the beginning of time with people facing persecution and ridicule for it. This sad reality prevents many people from embracing themselves which is a tragedy of the human condition.
There was a little girl at the elementary school I substituted at that had vitiligo. She was so quite and shy and just so adorable. There was a little heart on the back of her neck. She was such a beautiful child. I’d always tell her how pretty she was. She loved holding my hand. I just love that there’s more and faces available for her to see herself as beautiful.

I love how you say god doesn’t give you more than you can handle. My mom always told me that. The most I’ve seen of vitiligo was on my father-in-law…he was universal and at that time I had no idea what it was. Speed up a few decades later and now I have it and I’ve been researching (along with my daughters) to get a handle on what’s going on. Heck my daughter diagnosed me before my doctor did go figure. It is a bit frustrating not knowing if I’ll get more spots even though I started with just a tiny dots on each eyelid and after that my left ear and a bit on my right ear..and now a few dots on my lips…so maybe it’s still going😂.
This inspired me, now i don't need to hide my true self to others, i have same skin desease as her.. Thanks for this..

Her face doesn't look bad actually white
I was diagnosed with this skin condition, I'm honestly afraid to wake-up and see my face having those white spots. I'm the type of person who do not have that strong will when it comes to facing things I'm afraid of.

I have vitiligo and I'm super skinny, I had breakouts. This is the reason why I loss hope of love. For sure nobody will like me because of how I look.

The most important thing to remember is that Jesus loves you. He has a plan for you and knows everything about you. Put your trust in him and he will show you everything from your purpose to who your husband is going to be. Read the Bible and believe everything in it. Stay blessed in Jesus name.
