I have no problem with using plastic knife/ & no fork, I'm 60 yr old Irishman , family from rural Kentucky, I'd eat good sides with the knife or my fingers if folks there don't mind😂

Mrs. Nina & grandson John, Mrs. Nina your brothers Rick & Don made a bad error in judgement in parting ways with you & taking the Kreuz name with them. On a scale of 1-10 I give Smitty's meat an 8, for sides an 8, Kreuz market on meat a 2 & 1/2, sides a 1, I hope the new owners ( Cruz family name I think) have changed the way they smoke meats & on their sides variety. I know Rick said no sauce, but their meat needs sauce for flavor & no disrespect meant. Good smoked beef needs no sauce just S & P rub , pork needs a good dry rub or sauce or both. God Bless y'all from a 60 yr old Irishman & family from rural Kentucky. btw, I do have kin within a few hours of Lockhart, Tx.
