Isn't there a way to see the subdivided shape without switching from time to time ? Blender has it . Its able to show the subdivided mesh while making adjustments.
Hello Sir, I have a beginner level query. When we smooth the model every time to check its look, do we give a new smooth command each time, or change divisions on the very first command as we keep tweaking and changing d model?
hi im having some trouble using the 3d painting tool, the brush just doesnt work over it, the red circle doesnt even appear, i selected the polygon, added texture, and followed the instructions. still doesnt work, i dont know what i did wrong, any idea? :( thanks for helping
Make sure you are following these steps: first assign a file texture to the model- then select the model - go to 3d paint tool option box - now the red circle ⭕ should come.
Very nice tutorial. You get straight to the point without any "uhhs, umms, etc." Good way to see the whole workflow process for modeling and texturing

Pressing 3 on your keyboard shows you the smoothed mesh, pressing 2 shows you both

This is probably too late but when modeling you can press '3' to check how it looks smoothed and '1' to go back to unsmoothed

i think this only can be done with lambert material?

i have no idea how you made it more smooth by scaling tool at 4:15
At the initial stage the loops were uneven. By scaling in the Y axis I converted those into a circle and on one plane. So looking smooth:)
