Have you checked out the Analogue Pocket and adapters.If they can do that you probably can make an adapter for the Gameboy Advance to play turbochip games.
Ive heard about the analogue pocket and its hu-card adapter but hadnt thought about being able to use the same adapter for the GBA Hmm... very interesting. I wasnt aware that the analog pocket pcengine adapter was released already? I heard they were having issues with it?
I had a PC Engine Duo R in 2006, and a few days after I got it, the CD-ROM drive just quit working. It wouldn’t spin up at all. The Hu-Card port still worked, and I wish that I had kept it. I live in Denver, Colorado and I bet I could have found someone with the skills to fix it.
That is terrible i have one that also has cd drive issues. I dont blame you for getting rid of it back in 06 i wouldn't have known what to do with it either. But they are great for their versatility definitely worth having if you find a good deal on one.
Hello great vid. I was wondering if you have any experience with the hucard volume setting. It seems lower than other consoles and lower than the cd games. is that normal in the duo r? I have to turn my volume pretty high to get desired sound.
Hello, I am new to the Pc Engine scene, I have a question. When is the red light supposed to come on? I thought mine was broken? Is it always supposed to be on?
Just Google some ribbon cable. I dont remember the exact size but they aren't so expensive i usually keep a couple different sizes handy. Very useful 👌

Nice work! I didn’t realize how few layers that Duo-R had. It looks much simpler on the inside compared to the NES.
Yes this model is fairly easy to work on. Most of the issues ive run into with these are solved by reflowing soldier.

I haven't tried to improve the sound for hue cards but I know it's just a design flaw that effects the pc engine. As far as I know

It only comes on when using the cdrom² drive. It doesn't light up for hu-cards. And welcome to the world of pc-engine.👍

Now turn a PC Engine into a SuperGrafx and build an adapter so you can play turbochip games on a Gameboy Advance.
The pcengine to turbografx is easy enough. im not so sure about the gba adapter though sounds like a tough one.
