Hey mate, please create a Patreon. Your videos and resources are so valuable and interesting that I even feel bad for being unable to give anything in return. Awesome work!

Do you happen to know the screw size for the casing?

Does anyone know if it's safe to use a UK Playstation 2 Slim External Power Brick with this Console? I've been lead to believe it is and is actually a far safer method than using 3rd party PSU's, it's marked as 8.5V and goes above 1 Amp.
I know nothing about Power Supply's so if anyone knows for a fact it's safe to use please let me know, thanks for any information.

Hello! Unrelated with the issue on that RX, but mine apparently has a faulty cd lid sensor. If I try to run any CD game, the console prompts me to close the CD lid, although it is already closed. I'm considering buying a replacement part but i'd like to be sure I'm buying the right one. But I don't see that switch on the board of your video! Could you please perhaps point it out next time you have any Duo RX for service? Cheers!

It's taped with black tape on mine. Top right by where the cd wires connect

Very sorry @@RetroSix but I don't see it! It's not on the board itself, but underneath the console's top shell, right? Or on the CD drive?

@@GreenHillsZone Ah sorry I'm thinking of the other console, yes its the 2 pin wire that connects to the PCB and the sensor is in the top plastic housing

When the customer gets this back, they really should replace the Japanese power supply and step-down convertor with a UK power supply.
