I recall singing this in 1st grade right after we recited the Pledge of Aligence, it was always a favorite of mine to sing. A song of power and faith, rich in history that is now mocked and scorned. Well , I was curious if anyone even remembered this beloved hymn and to my joyous surprise 100's of results popped onto my search page! HIS TRUTH is marching on!!! As the song says GLORY! GLORY! HALLELUJAH!
Glory to God in the highest. I am grateful for the truth of the Son. This is actually my favorite song of all time, and I've listened to many versions. This one is a solid version indeed. Cheers to you all.
may all to those who have fought for us and to free us all, may God bless us and our families and for the Fallen Soldiers of thy Country America, from all Wars, thank you for your service and for all to be in Heaven, blessing you all from the bottom of my heart, the strength, the courage, Faith, trust and peace of mind and soul, may the Lord bless us and may the world saved and Healed by thee Halelujah! God bless All, from the Philippines 🇵🇭🇺🇸
Very moving! Such powerful and soul quenching words manifesting in God's power. Thank you for sharing this. Lately, this song popped in my head and will not let me go ( no need to send help...Help is here). I've been going around listening to different versions of it, so this version is my favorite because they put emphasis when and where it is called for. The tune to this sounds like one of the anthems of England...jus my thoughts.
I wish you had a picture of the firemen raising the flag at Ground Zero on September 11, 2001. That was certainly as inspirational as the Marines raising the flag at Iwo Jima after a hard won battle.
The USA began as a group of Englishmen deciding to have a republic. They ended up creating a very English kind of republic, with a tradition of the peaceful transfer of power echoing the virtues of the Noble Brutus of old. It has lived a longer life thereby than any other modern state.
I can’t believe the arrogance and presumptuousness in changing Julia Ward Howe’s as He died to make men holy let us die to make men free to let us live to make men free. SING IT THE WAY IT WAS WRITTEN!
No. No! NO!! Julia Ward Howe DID NOT write "As He died to make men holy let us LIVE to make men free" as so many Americans sing but "Let us DIE to make men free" which changes the whole meaning of the moving piece. This most wonderful of all anthems is not "The Church Hymn of the Republic" but "The BATTLE Hymn of the Republic" and you don't go into BATTLE to make men free unless you are prepared to DIE! Are you prepared to DIE to make men free? I am.
God I hate this version of the song. It's a damn march, not a freaking lullaby, this is to damn slow, and sure as hell not emphatic and imposing. This is a song that when you hear it the sound alone should give the feeling of a regime marching into battle, not a chorus singing in an auditorium.
@@Disneyfan82 a lot actually. Imagine America the Beautiful sung in hip hop or the National Anthem as a rap. Neither invoke the feelings behind the meanings and messages of the songs. It would be like telling someone their is a fire in the building while laughing. You are trying to save their life but they would consider it a joke. How you present a message is just as important as the message itself.
It’s Memorial Day. I’m dedicated this song to all the men and women who made the sacrifice by defending the country. The United States of America.🫡🫡🫡🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Psalm 33:12
The singing of the refrain after the second verse at 2:21 gives me goosebumps. So uplifting.
God loves us, let us all serve Him in thanksgiving and praise.🦞😁
His truth is marching on!
I just saw this version on 10-20-2022 and Oh Yeah! My Fire Is Lit to peacefully STAND AND DEFEND OUR FREEDOM! Al

I SALUTE AMERICA for their Patriotic love and pride of their country despite all their trials and tribulations in past and present times
"As He died to make men holy,Let us "die" to make men free" 😔💔😪 Sing the song correctly. God curse political correctness!!
He will! God in wrath remember mercy! 🙏🏻
The verse is also MIA!
It completely eradicates the meaning of that part which is honoring the dead and that we can't be free without blood shed and it's outrageous
The new lyrics are lying to the world

Shut up already, what does it matter how it's sung as long as it's still holds the meaning on fighting for freedom and against all injustices.
