    WORKED!!!! Thanks Jason! :)
    For all who ended up in Failsafe mode for all the toggles.
    -Mandatory!!! : Reverse the PIT on TX first off other wise you will end up in Failsafe mode for every toggles (N,1,2 and Hold). Will not work if you reverse it on Naza assistance software alone.
    Good Luck!

    Just a note to thank you for this video. I tried another method with the gear switch to get to failsafe but couldn't get it to work in all 3 flight modes. Now I have to figure out a video switch and gimbal tilt and I'm ready. Thanks again.

    Hey Chris! Glad to help. The first thing that you need to do before you set the values is enable the throttle cut switch in the settings. You have to make it active. Then, follow the programming guide as I show in the video and you will see that when you flip the throttle cut switch it acts as a failsafe switch instead in the NAZA software.

    Jason thanks for everything, you know only your explanation of flysky 9x configuration naza works, I had tried at least 10 sectors from various videos on You tube but none worked well, not to say that did not work at all.

    You must select helicopter under model type selection. It does not matter which helicopter model you choose, just do not choose Airplane. You may need to increase or decrease the value by a point or two on the throttle cut to get the failsafe to kick in. It can only be done properly while you are paying attention to the software when you are hooked up. I have set up over 100 of these radios all exactly the same.

    • @dtragic
      @dtragic 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Saw you say you setup over 100 of these...can I ask you a question? When I setup the 9x on the quadcopter (naza m lite), it seems to not be giving it enough throttle and will not take off. Sort of like if it was too heavy. Just barely lifting at full throttle. Everything was lined up properly and responding in the assistant software. (Sticks calibrated and flight modes) When I switch back to the old transmitter, it fly's fine and strong. My flight mode switch works fine on the new one too.. It seems like it is something in the transmitter setting doing this because when i switch back to the older radio it works fine.. like something is limiting throttle to be 100% although throttle shows as 100% in the naza stick calibration..What setting do you think it could be on my 9X? Thank you Kindly!!

    Thank you for sharing the step by step of how to set up the fail safe on the 9X for the NAZA M. I programmed it and on my transmitter it shows the same as yours. I don't have a NAZA board as of now, but might in the near future. What I was looking for when I found your video was how to get the Fail Safe to work on the Turnigy 9X C Rx V:2 with the Turnigy 9X Tx V:2. I saw one video that used it with the stock receiver and just set the throttle to 000% with the stick and saved it in active Fail Safe setting? I have tried several times and this doesn't work for me? Now I'm wondering if there is a way of setting it up similar to what you show here so if Tx signal is lost the throttle will cut. I have seen plenty of videos on how to change modules to FrSky and Orange , but if this is supposed to work I would sure like to figure it out. I just purchased this Tx and Rx combo because I am on a very limited budget and will have to wait at least a month before I can buy any more parts.

    Hey D, try this:
    Remove all of your blades and then start up your motors. Make sure that you are in GPS mode to start this out. After the motors are running, put the quad into attitude mode and then into manual mode. What type of difference do you see in the motors and how fast they go? This is a test to be sure that your manual mode is working properly. when you give your quad some throttle, does your status indicator light for your NAZA stay the same? Does it go into any other mode as you give it throttle? The settings have to be exactly the same as I show in the video for this to work. If you miss even one detail this will not work for you. Let me know what you find D. thanks!

    • @dominepepinillo7810
      @dominepepinillo7810 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +simas lukosevicius .... The values provided are close. While connected to DJI Assistant, you need to adjust each value to ensure that it is in its respective position i.e. N = GPS; ID1 = ATTI; ID2 = Manual. I had to change the values to the following N/GPS = 8.5; ID1/ATTI = 43; ID2/Manual = 77.5.

    • @raphlovesit
      @raphlovesit 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Domine Pepinillo - I found your comment made me second guess his instructions. However they worked perfectly as long as you follow every step. I used his exact values!

    • @dominepepinillo7810
      @dominepepinillo7810 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +raphlovesit ... The instructions are very good. They will not work exactly for everyone. I factory reset my 9x transmitter. Followed the instructions. In DJI Assistant, GPS mode switched back and forth between GPS and Failsafe; ATTI mode was Failsafe; same for Manual. I had to adjust each setting (GPS = 8.5; ATTI = 43; Manual = 77.5). These values are not the same as those in the video

    OK It's a given that I am a complete novice in the sport and just learning everything. But I have watched your video 20 times and checked my settings 15 times and I still can't get it right. the stick movements are Ok but the toggle switch will not change the setting off failsafe mode. I'm using a Turnigy 9X and a NAZA lite, could there be some differences in the transmitters? It's probably something I did wrong but I just can't seem to find it. Any suggestions.
