Missed opportunity if you went to Bancroft and didn’t check out Egan Chutes, beautiful hiking trail that leads to the water feature, it’s actually not far from the princess sodalite mine. The Bancroft Brewery is also up and coming if that’s something you’re into as well!
I have lived in 3 of these towns... Campbellford lived only for few mths but since then its my must visit place during summer mths...Oshawa lived for 6 yrs.. Beautiful town/city...and currently past 10yrs i m at St. Thomas...Beautiful town with lovely neighborhoods and close to Port Stanley Beach... This yr definitely want to visit Innisfil...Long pending visi
I WISH!!! Wasaga was more developed, there is very little there. Yes the beach is great, I love it, but as a visit place I can't suggest it. There are literally 2 restaurants there that's it, no cafes, no markets, no farms.
Wasaga is great for its beaches which during the summer you can’t get near and people are packed together cheek to jowl. There is never enough parking and let’s not forget the line up on Hwy 400 to get to there. I was there once, years ago, and didn’t enjoy the chaos, the crowds, or the garbage everywhere. It may have improved but I have other places I can go for a weekend and actually relax.
You didn't mention the Dionne quintuplets born just outside of North Bay in 1934. The first identical (natural) quintuplets in history known to survive. Very interesting story.
The hospital looks like a rainbow, had the runs on it. I'm from Sudbury and It was a waste to do that..mega money for that. The guy got his paint equipment stolen and had to stop...so its an incomplete mess. 😂😂😂
Fun fact. Campbellford mayor destroyed Townsends life by bankrupting him, forcing him to leave the area penniless by pushing ahead the bridge project through his property. It never happened but as a result he lost his house and gallery etc etc. thankfully mayor McMillan took the big dirt nap.
@@ontarioroadtripping I am in Europe right now and are looking at places where to return to..Oakville and Orangeville were nice places the last time I was there..although prices are too steep, could you also list prices..
You say you went to Innisfil but you really didn’t 🤦♀️😅you really missed out by wasting your entire Innisfil section on Friday harbour 🤦♀️Friday harbour is the newest community and it’s not even in the heart of Innisfil it’s at the farthest point almost Barrie 😂🤦♀️ I just feel if ur gonna promote Innisfil you should actually experience places in Innisfil
I live in Sarnia and was born and raised in St Thomas. My hubby proposed to me under Jumbo. ☺️💕

You forgot Wasaga Beach with the longest fresh water beach in the world. Absolutely beautiful. Big miss!

@@luisaraujo4708 Yes, if you stay right on the main wasaga beach area, but there are more beaches away from the main drag.
Eastern Ontario has so many “cool” towns that I hope you do a separate video just for them.
New sub here. Another great video
Thank so much glad you enjoyed it!

Yes I know that story, very cool for sure, but not everything can fit into 1 video :)

Not promoting anything just my opinion of what i like
As a resident, Campbellford is a drug infested little town and the homeless are starting to show up and make it even dirtier
