At the moment the country is undergoing a massive drive to encourage more people to relocate to the country. The government aims to welcome just over 400,000 new permanent residents every year for the next three years.
The government is doing its best to welcome expats with help getting visas, jobs, bank accounts and more. Vancouver I'm coming
I think Newfoundland is the best place to live. I moved her for two years in 92 and I never left. Not perfect but has affordable housing, affordable education and spectacular scenery.
Canada is a beautiful country because of the people and the scenery! I am a citizen of the U.S. We’re so lucky to have Canada as our neighbor to the north. 😀
We are blessed to have USA as our neighbor
I am a Canadian and feel the same about Americans. Unfortunately, both countries have corrupt very inept governments destroying our respective nations. 🍺
And we love the USA!! We are truly blessed to have a cool neighbor like the States! You are always welcome to come visit our beautiful country!! Edmonton is really fun. Banff is amazing and very beautiful.
Nova Scotia is absolutely NOT the place to move too. We have a high poverty and homeless rate. Highest taxes, highest cost of living, it's worse than BC. This is not accurate.
i agree , Nova Scotia, Quebec , Alberta, Ontario lol😂 This clown making this video has no clue what he's talking about! He just listed some of the most expencive provinces in Canada along with lowest wages , ... Do your research better fool!
It’s like this across the entire country now.. I live just outside Toronto so we have tons of homeless, and all that.. to the point it’s normal to see the odd dead one on the street every so often now… I have family on the East coast in PEI and they tell me it’s basically the same there as well and they’re the smallest province.
Thanks for sharing
Which state would like to stay that's best.
It is significantly more affordable to live in Nova Scotia than Ontario or BC, and we have the same problems.
We moved from Ontario to Chilliwack, BC in 2020 and absolutely love here. We bought a home and life here is beautiful like the might Canadian Rockies, with mild climate and snow for just 2/3 days in year, BC is the best place to live in Canada
Everything that you said about Ontario is the opposite. If you uploaded this 8 years ago, it might still be applicable; but not anymore. Ontario & BC have the highest cost of living. Housing & rentals are skyrocketing day by day because of the lack of supply & high demand. It’s not Canada that I used to know 8 years ago.
I am now a Senior and live in Mississauga my whole Life mostly. Now in July 2023 the cost of Rent, Food and Gas is CRAZY . I love the safety of Mississauga though 😊
That's so true. Homeless everywhere in the city
@@meic2994side affects from Covid 19 around the world. Toronto, Ontario is very expensive city to live now. Rent is sky rocket high and still up every year. 😢. Home is very expensive and unaffordable for young generation
I lived in Alberta since 1993 but my mind is always in BC, loved every corners in BC. Living cost in BC is main problem to stop me from moving :)
Alberta is more expensive now
@@AnaCarolina-xi4wg LMAO not even close.
No it’s not. Lier. @@AnaCarolina-xi4wg
Went to ALberta in the late 1990s.from B.C,like almost all governments in Canada be it provincial have had there downs ,since moving back to B.C the place is worst than when I left decades ago, Canada is broken nomatter where you go
I like Manitoba, sunny, friendly and not expensive 😊
1:22 Nova Scotia
2:54 Alberta
4:26 Quebec
6:24 Ontario
8:42 British Columbia
Personally, I would never live in Quebec as their anti-English laws are over the line and taxes are too high. That also goes for BC until it gets a sensible government and not some crazy lefty/Marxist ideologues. If you can handle the cold weather, Alberta is the best place to live in Canada and then Atlantic Canada.
The best province is Alberta then Saskatchewan then Nova Scotia then Quebec then Newfoundland .
Ha ha what a joke
Winters in Central Canada? No thanks!
I love my home province of Alberta. I could never live anywhere else.
Southern Ontario - too crowded and too much traffic and expensive as hell. Also, Doug Ford, nuff said!
Who would you like to have as a premier for Ontario out of the current stock of politicians? I can only guess you must be a Liberal.
the Liberal wrecked this province
@@heroxddmp8818ya right,Mulroney(Conservative)brought free trade, we lost thousands of good union manufacturing jobs then Mike Harris(Conservative) passed replacement worker legislation so companies wouldn’t or couldn’t negotiate new contracts.
Ya Ford, beer on every corner while ER’s close nightly across the province.
@@heroxddmp8818back in the 80s I paid 1000$/wk income tax now I never even clear that, thanks Conservatives, now I’m no fan of the drama teacher but if you think the collection agent is going to make it all better history doesn’t look good.
Vancouver Island is the best place ever!!!
Ya my family lived in Calgary Alberta its a beautiful place residential and industrial place....its a big city also..
Can you tell me about education opportunity in alberta, because i am making my mind to get admission in alberta.
I would never live in Toronto a very stinky city and people are very ignorant
FLOODS!
Welcome to Canada! With right intentions you can make a life pretty much anywhere in this beautiful country. "Underline - RIGHT INTENTIONS"
Not anymore. Too many poor new comers, bad hospitals, taxes and criminal government.
Alberta is my choice
As I want to work in the agriculture sector.
Besides living costs, there are relatively promising
Nanaimo.Vancouver Island. Small scale city on a peaceful island
I love it. My third time and final move here.
My eldest son is presently working in British Columbia hoping and praying one day I can also see that place
Thank You Lord Amen
Sounds like you would need to move to BC's bible belt.
Thanks for the info
“I love Montreal,” said the chef at the beginning of episode four of the first season of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. “It is my favourite place in Canada
The French ruined it by alienating all the original English speaking ppl. They shd have joined forces! As it always was before Trudeau and his lousy communist agenda! Long live the King.
Saskatchewan is not ALL flat. There's an area in the south-west area called the Cypress Hills that has mountains which are of a higher elevation than those in Quebec. Quite a bit of the southern area is hilly and ranching country. There are also valleys like the Qu'Appelle Valley ,north and east of Regina. Northern Sask. is heavy forest with a thousand lakes.
So little of Saskatchewan is flat and the part that is is the best farmland in the world. The people that think it's all flat have no clue.
I could stand at the border of Alberta and see my friend waving to me from the border of Manitoba.
@@-8h- clown 9 minutes ago you said you live in Ontario. Admit it you have never been to SK .
The Cypress hills might be at a higher elevation than most mountains in Québec, but the vertical drop is nowhere near comparable since the base elevation of those hills in Saskatchewan is around 1100m above sea level; the vertical drop is only around 200 meters.
Meanwhile, in Québec, most mountains have between 400 and 600 meters vertical drop, and in some regions like around Québec city and in Gaspésie it's more around 800m to 1000m vertical drop, which isn't small
Come on a person can see from the west border to the east border ! I’ve had the pleasure of driving from Calgary to Toronto it’s flat
NOVA SCOTIA, BC & TORONTO IS VERY EXPENSIVE TO LIVE.
why did u say NS is very expensive ? I am planning to move there for job ang get PR. Pls. kindy advise me, thanks so much
Born in Quebec-Montreal; moved to Alberta in 89; then Northern BC in 98; and finally in 2001 Campbell River; and in 2007 the Comox Valley in Cumberland. Love and appreciate Vancouver Island eh!

I have not reached the end of the video but I'm making this comment first because I don't want to be influenced by it. For me the best province is BC hands down but that's because I am Asian and English speaking. I want to say the best city is Vancouver but the economy there isn't great and cost of living has really spiraled in the last 10-15 years. I quite like Victoria or maybe one of the "suburbs" of greater Vancouver. Calgary is pretty high on the list as well. The worst province for me is Quebec. Ok time to watch the video to the end.
Hi, I'm planning to move to Canada this year. Can you please recommend me which province is best to leave in.
Not sure where they got the ‘no traffic is Halifax’ because there certainly is, the infrastructure here is terrible and there is gridlock daily. It took me 40mins yesterday to get somewhere it usually takes me 15 mins to get to 😅
Roared with laughter re lack of traffic--had I not just recently visited I would've thought you were exaggerating......SO YEP, You got that one SPOT ON!
We are senior citizens, and having lived in BC and Alberta, for us Saskatchewan is our favourite province. So peaceful and unstressful, and comparatively cheap living.
and minus 50 :)
@@ugurceldir That's a little exaggerated,,,maybe -35C at times, during the worst of the winter. We go away for holidays during the coldest times to avoid the lowest temperatures. Come and live here and see for yourself.
❤how can I get a job in Canada am adriver plz if u can assist
For those who are interested in moving to Calnada, go to POEA and ask for assistance to find a legit agency who are hiring for Canada. Employer from Canada hired workers from legit agency.
Yes, Sascatchewan is a better place to live according to my son living there with his family. Their residence is in Etevan and his son is in Regina.🙏👍✌
Alberta is blessed with nature’s beauty --- rock mountains, vast forests, and a desirable environment.
But super expensive, let me know how much you pay for utilities in winter
Haha. Cheaper than anywhere in the country. Haha. Because Alberta has a government that cares about there people. @@AnaCarolina-xi4wg
Every place in Canada is expensive for what you are getting.

There is always interesting of every country and now understand
Please anyone watching this do not take it as fact. Pretty much got all of it wrong. Fishing and Hunting in Nova Scotia and cold? Can live in Vancouver for $50,000/year?? Alberta is way more than Agriculture, oil and gas. Also quite a few more cities than just Calgary. Toronto is getting worse every year. People are leaving the city because it is so expensive to live there. Quebec is getting up there with cost of living along with the taxes. Vancouver Island, yes mild in the winter compared to the rest of Canada but jobs are hard to come by which is why a lot of people retire there.
Can we get job or LMIA in Vancouver after coming on visit visa plz rpl
My best place is British Columbia beautiful weather and scenic surrounded by mountains, parks and out door activities around the year. .
As a British Colombian I can confirm they’re a lot of activities you can do especially the winter. They’re activities to do for every season
The 1988 Olymics were not the catalyist for the cities urban growth. The 88 Winter games left a Sporting and training legacy if that's what you are refering to. The economic driver is Oil and Gas exploration and devlopment. This has occured over many decades leading up to 1988 and continuesthrough to 2023. Other econmic drivers such as technology, tourism, film and TV production and Finacial services, freight logistics both truck and rail.
wooow I would love to live there then
can u pls help?
Can’t believe Ontario is on there. Sure come to Canada and with two jobs in twenty years you can have down payment for a house your kids might be able to pay off
I live in Port Alberni I love it here in B.C but its expensive
Thanks for sharing
I would say Ontario because of the job opportunities and different cultures present there.
You are wrong crime no jabs no apartmenta end very expensive
India
Surprised Ontario on the list unless prepared to sleep on the streets even in the smallest of cities. Having a tent is a luxury. Now highest unemployment except in Toronto itself and unemployment growing in other cities.
TOO HUMID!
What they say about Ontario is true about life 15 years ago. NOW is quite different.
Very informative..
Watching from Brampton, Ontario, Canada ❤❤❤❤❤
I wish to visit there soon
I want to live in nova scotia. I worked in holland america lines before and I visited those places of canada. I also like new foundland.
Newfoundland
Thank you for the advice
Canada is good
WITH ALL THE FIRES! CANADA GOOD , AND THE GOV. THERE TILL 2027 CANT VOTE WHEN THERS FIRES
The best place to live Canada is the number 1 you mention it.the cost of living is better and the salary is good also so number one I choose to live it.
It's really beautiful
Well, I prefer to avoid the Canadian winter so it's the west coast for me during said season.
I love Vancouver BC 🇨🇦♥️✨🎉
About Halifax what your saying is B S. I have lived here all my ljfe and I have to say I hate it here now.Rents prices are very high , so much garbage around , alot of traffic and accidents on the 102. .No parking downtown unless you have an app.. I took a bus downtown to the waterfront for the first time in years and I was shocked to see the waste I of money spent on a stairway to What?? . SOMEONE told me there was an elevator at the top .Our health care system is broken .people living in tents .No low rental housing has been built in years.
About québec Bars, Pubs, Brasseries are closing at 3.00 Am. So forget about illicit bars. In Ontatio bars ar closing at 1.00 Am. People of Ottawa are crossing the bridge to Québec to finish the party. So what was said in that beautiful video concerning your possibilities of having a good drink at night are wrong. An other way to be unfriendly towards our citizens. ( as usual). We are not bums. So please be advised accordingly.
Bars? They're open 24 hours in Las Vegas and the weather is much warmer.
Good for you Vegas. We are talking Canada here@@sexygeek8996
Still Dreaming to stay there ❤❤
BC = Bring Cash. We used to live there, left 5 years ago
Alberta is to Canada what Texas is to the USA. Lots of work in Alberta and conservative based. Saskatchewan is a little cheaper, but flat and cold. I was born in sk, but moved to Alberta in my teens and never looked back. So if you love guns, freedom, not so much government Alberta is your Provence
My bro in there.. nice knowing the best is British Columbia
Very informative
in quebec you pay 15% gst for each cdn dollar when buy something...... and when you work 35% you pay tex to canadian government anotherword you work for $1 you bring home 65 cents.
In Québec province we pays income taxes to Canada and to the provincial government. Per year quebec tax payers are giving over 55 billion dollars to federal government.
@@LouismarieBelanger yep and you get more than you give.
@@alainouellet7794 you clearly don't know how the economy works
13% gst in Ontario. 15% gst in quebec , new. brunswick, nova scotia , pei, newfoundland.
Quebec collects most of the transfer payments that go to the provinces.
Toronto I like it and someday I can relocate there. Thank you !

Traffic does exist in Halifax city and area, during rush hours is very bad lately, because many people from all over moving to the city. Used to be no traffic , but not lately !Also halifax used to be cheaper place to live, but not anymore, expensive and not easy to live, but still is quitter then bigger cities in Canada.
Vancouver is the most wonderful and beautiful city. But nothing much is organized there. It can be pretty boring, but the environment and weather make you forget it.
But I don't think $50000 is enough to live there.
If your a person who have a good outlook on life and personable, you'll find people are very friendly. There are many activities throughout the year that will keep you busy. Summer doesn't seem to follow like all the other provinces. Vancouver Spring time is noticeable in early March whereas the other provinces are about 1 month later. Activities in April starts with Car Free Days where the parts of Vancouver major streets of 10 blocks are for festivals (Vaisacki parade with free food in April, World wide international Dragon Boat races, Taiwanese Festivals, Italian Festival car free day 10 blocks, Greek Festival, Chinatown Festival, Kitsilano Festival, International Festival fire works where 3 different countries compete for the honors to come back next year. I'm running out of time - need to get ready to join my friends for lunch - VANCOUVER BORING is a person who does not have things to do.
@@mangoginger8924 I lived there for 7 years so my opinion is solid. I didn't say there was nothing to do, but compared to Montreal, there just isn't much. But Vancouver is just more beautiful and peaceful. The people are nice but are simply not letting you in. And this is just not my opinion, I asked a lot of people and they all agreed, if you don't already have family or friends, it will be very difficult to create relationships.
@richardb.3808 thx for ur postive comments. It's good to have others inputs
Why is it that people have to have pastimes handed to them? You have to look.

Really! I never heard of it specially this time.
Coming to Vancouver very soon. My son is schooling therejj
Some information ismisleading. Best to check with people who actually live in Canada. Also, spend enough time in any of these places yourself to form your own opinion, especially if you might be considering the possibility of living there. Being a visitor is not the same as being a resident.
Winnipeg is best affordable

Hello Margaret, how are you doing today
You need to check out the medical system and each province. They’re all a little bit different.
Calgary Canada is best I wanna came to see
I grew up in Calgary in the 80s and 90s it was a wonderful city and great people
Just remember, BC stands for Bring Cash, and lots of it. It's beautiful here, but it isn't cheap.
Why is the Alberta portion only about Calgary?
Because the rest of alberta isn't worth knowing about.
There's fuck all in Edmonton
BC is extremely expensive to live there. Average rent in Vancouver $2500 a month and that an average apartment nothing special. Even in surrounding areas like Abbotford, Mission fraservalley as it’s called Rents are very high. You won’t get a house under 1/2 million or more. But hey it is beautiful for sure
i want to go in Nova Scotia
Manitoba is the best provinces I used to live in. House expense is cheap, lots of beautiful landscapes in Manitoba. Unlike such as Toronto big cities etc. very expensive property cost, ugly human made concrete forest. You only feel out of breath for everyday hard work including weekend overtime work to make a living. Lots of wasting time and money for political elections. For example there is no forum discussing highway 407 free driving again. This is for working class people to save money and can expense more in groceries etc. and finally increasing lots of companies products to sell and finally increase more employment. But there is no politicians talking about it. And capital country Canada encouraged capitalisms bribery government for advantage rights to get ugly extra money. Like Chinese government does!
Alberta presently is THE best Province 2024 Who did this assessment ? Seasonal work? We are a major oil producer in the world, have awesome Federal and Provincial Parks - Tourist destination Farming is very productive In this vid, Edmonton is under rated and Toronto is over rated IMO
BC has the best climate and life style
Awesome useful info
For a six month old video, it isn’t very accurate with regards to Nova Scotia. Lived most of my life here and was born near. As long as you don’t live in Halifax, it’s not too bad.
