How To Get Custom Ginger Hair Color | Box Dye | Creme of Nature

- So happy about this custom color I created by mixing two of creme of nature's new moisture rich colors. Using Vivid Red and Light Golden Blonde I was able to achieve this beautiful Ginger color. I've always gotten my hair color done professionally in a salon, nervous about ruining my hair trying to color at home. But no more! The colour looks amazing, but just one thing for anyone wanting to dye their hair, if you don't want 'hot roots' which is where your roots are lighter than the ends, put the dye on the roots last cus it will help for a more even colour
But besides that, I love the colour on you, might have to try it for myself at some point too XD

@@kimberlygarcia498 only a few minutes. Roots lighten quickly die to the heat of our scalps. I'd say the last 5 mins of the total processing time will work. You can always darken just your roots with a "rinse" color like the adore brand
It luckily came out beautiful but I was watching that and yelling "nooooooo!!!!!" lol
True. But Too bad the directions that come with it say start with roots…🤷🏽♀️
This is my current color. Salon color. You paid less than $20. I paid $225. I need a refund. 😒

I love creme of nature hair color. Only suggestion is in order to not have super vibrant roots, you should start 1/4 inch away from your scalp, do all for quarters then come back and do the roots as this is tour hot zone and it processes quicker than the rest of your hair. Beautiful color on you.

I want a new color but never thought about doing it myself. I've only colored my hair once at home. It was a brown so if I messed up, it would not be noticeable - LOL! But the color I want required a mix. Very tempting to see what I can craft! Thanks!!!

It looks good on you! When I used the Creme of Nature color it dried my hair out badly. The only box color that works great for my hair is Silk Elements.

I'm afraid of the harsh chemicals getting into my scalp when I dye my hair. I think that means I'll have to be careful about the dye I choose. But I love how your hair came out

I really like it. A little advice... Don't color your roots when doing a full virgin application 1st because it can lead to hot roots as it did in this case. Apply mid shaft to ends and let sit for half the alloted time and then go back and do the roots and color melt to create uniformity. That way the roots aren't too bright. Reason: our roots are closest to the scalp and heat from the scalp causes the color to process faster
