I’m about to dye my hair this color in august and I’m watching so many tutorials on how. Thank you so much for the explanation! My hair is a dark brown/black and I decided not to go to a salon because they said they would have to bleach it and I don’t trust stylists since I live in a state that doesn’t have too many black people😭 so thank you for this!!!
The hairstylist is correct, they would need to lift your dark hair a bit in order for the hair dye colour show up vibrant. In the video she used a developer in the hair dye to give lift her natural hair a lift in order for the dye to take as good as it did
Omg this is perfect 🥰 I love you for this. Each time I've gotten my hair dyed it was bleached. It's been a few years and I do not want to use bleach. This will be my first time dyeing my hair by myself. I've been searching for a video to relate to for a few weeks. You started from 100% virgin hair, provided info on the products, and explained everything👏🏾💖
I’m going to a salon to get this color in a few days and my hair is just a tinyyy bit lighter than yours. The woman who is going to do my hair said we could get this color without bleaching since I have virgin hair and I didn’t believe her until now 😭 thank you for posting this video, this color is STUNNING on you!! ❤️❤️❤️
Looks just like my hair! Dyed it orange a year ago with bleach and wanted to skip the bleaching process. Gonna try this weekend 😊 It came out perfect, especially the roots in the back.
This is such a PRETTY COLOR!! It looks amazing on you also! I want to dye my hair so bad but I’m afraid it’ll fall out/get really damaged. But seeing this makes me wanna do it!!
Thank you!! You should go for it, trust me I was nervous too, but I haven't experienced any noticeable damage nor has any of my hair fallen out haha. It's so much fun switching up your hair color, let me know if you do it I'd love to see your results ❤
LOVE THE COLOR but here's a trick my grandma does cuz she's a retired hair stylist so the processing won't damage your scalp is to put your favorite type of hair oil on just your scalp all over your head then u can start to dye
I love this color so much...and if it can really be done on dark hair without bleach that’s so amazing...I’m kind of tempted to do it at home now because idk I don’t trust salons but I also don’t trust myself either cause I have NO experience 😭 btw how is the upkeep like, do u think you can do a video on it?
Haha 😂 Pauline I was in the same boat as you 👏🏽 I tend to not trust other people with my hair so I did a lot of research beforehand. I think it’s definitely worth trying, and the upkeep is pretty manageable. I’ll make a full video going over the upkeep and things I’d wish I’d known beforehand ♥️♥️
Please don’t change until you are absolutely ready babygirl because Auntie Paula(Butterfly)is loving this color on you…you’re already beautiful and that hair color goes with your skin tone 😊♥️
@@TishMechelle thanks, I left it on for over an hour, but I’d recommend to follow the directions on the dye box. If your hair still looks like it needs more time to process than you can dye ball it but make sure to keep and eye on it to avoid hot roots ♥️
My hair litterally looks like that when you took your hat off. I'm going with light auburn and sizzling copper. Wish me luck. 2 yrs ago I did soft Auburn and copper it was a little to light I want it a little darker like a deep Cinnamon/Ginger... 🤞🏾your hair came out amazing!!!💜💜💜
@Z Fitz it looks great, but of course you know we are never satisfied.. I want it to look richer without it being too bright. I think I might have to try another brand. But this will definitely do for now! 😏
I just did 80% Cajun Spice and 20% paprika and my base was yellow bleached roots and light rose ends. So my hair looks like a Penny. Or like my son says a metal Brillo pad.😮😂 I wanted more ginger tangerine but hey!
No the color remained the same throughout the process, oxidizing is a normal occurrence but it shouldn’t be anything too major of a change in colors ♥️ hope this has helped
Beautiful!!! Question you said it started burning? Does it have the ingredient PPD in it? I’m highly allergic but I been really want to go copper for a long time.
Hey so I looked it up and yea it does contain ppd in it, sorry to hear that you’re allergic it seems like a lot of companies tend to use this ingredient in their products 😔

I personally left it on for around 45 min, then I applied the color to my roots. But everyone’s hair reacts differently so keep that in mind ♥️
Hi ! It’s beautiful. I wanna try it ! I saw a comment where you said you let it sit for 1 hour ( roots only 15mn) but in the description box it says 1h and 45mn 😕 Can you confirm which one it is please ?
I would say it’s closer to an 1 hour 45, however, with that being said my hair took a longer time then most people’s to process. So I recommend following the time recommended by the dye. Leaving it on for longer than the suggested time can and may result in hair being damaged. Wishing you luck ♥️ let me know how it goes
@@ZFitz I didn't see in your videos what exactly what you used to color it that pretty color. I tried to follow but didn't really see anything but the 3 tubes of color.
