  • In this video I will explain how to swap your car's automatic transmission with a manual trans. I will go over all the parts you will need, how to wire the clutch pedal, and a break down on some of the mods that you will need to do.
    Big shout out to Z1. I have picked up about 60% of all the parts I have needed to do the swap from them. z1motorsports.com/

    A lot of people say it’s such a headache when it really isn’t it’s more simple than swapping a automatic transmission 💯 manual swap is the best way to

      Yeah, the hardest part of the project was filming it lol. The rest wasn't bad at all.

      @@Prolbuilds only issue I had was engagement, all that was needed was a bracket bolted onto where the foot brake was into the pedal that way it doesn’t flex the wall. Quick Heads up

      Hell yeah! I'm happy my video helped motivate you. Take the swap one step at a time and before you know it you will be clutch kicking into the corners lol. If you get stuck with something hit me up.
      GOOD LUCK!

    It was a good explanation to make it look like a stock mt vehicle But I want to drive right away, so I'm going to use the A/T harness to connect only the reverse switch and the clutch switch to the starter relay wiring cant wait to drive it 😂

      But if I work my way, I won't be able to use cruise control

    would this be the same as for manual swapping a q50?

    • @Prolbuilds
      @Prolbuilds  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You would need about the same type of parts. But the wiring would be different.
      Manual swapping a q50 would be a cool project, do you have the 3.0 or 3.7?

    Hey so I use manual harness and auto ecu n bcm what pin do I use 140 or 114 ? On the bcm

    • @Prolbuilds
      @Prolbuilds  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you use the auto ecu and bcm. The pin would be 140, even if you change the harness.
      The automatic ecu and bcm are still programed to see a signal from pin 140 so the car can start.
      If you swap out the ecu and bcm (manual) use pin 114.
      because the ecu and bcm are looking for the signal from that pin to start the car.
      I hope this helps
