@ashwinaluchetti8076 I was about to ask the same. @Joshmadakor could you teach us how to frame the experience from your course so that we could apply effectively for GRC jobs? There seems to be a lot of overlap in security knowledge. Also is there anyway you'd consider updating your security course with Sox, ISO 27001, or Soc Framework breakdowns?
Hello Josh, do you have a ballpark estimate on when the VM course will be released? I’m very interested in it and can’t wait to start. And thank you for the content.
Can you talk about Reverse Engineering/ Malware Analysis as a career. It’s an essential part of cybersecurity but doesn’t get enough attention, just was wondering you thought on it!! Also love you videos hope your doing well.
Would learning pentesting tools like Nmap, burp and etc help with vulnerability management in a significant way? From a recruiter standpoint and from the actual job standpoint too
Hey Josh great video. I took your cyber course and got a job as a soc analyst and while I am super grateful I was able to break into cybersecurity within my first job, I don’t see myself working in a SOC forever. The graveyard shifts are fine for now but not forever. Anyways, how can I use your course, my SOC experience, sec+, AWS ccp, and Net+ to get a remote job? Something cloud related. What steps should I take to transition into something like cloud engineer or cloud admin. I’ve found the cloud field hard to break into bc they want you to know everything (terraform, Linux, docker) Anyways keep up the great work, would love it if you answered my question and provided some insight
For Cloud you probably want to do some SysOps courses. Linux LFCS and CKA might help you get into Cloud Roles. Depending on your Cloud route get AWS/Azure certs that correspond to the role you want.
@@DigitalHoplite honestly dude I got lucky. I work for a cyber security start up and their soc is new and they weren’t looking for any cybersecurity wizards. The pay is well below industry standard tho. My advice is to get your sec+, do joshs course and copy his resume that’s all I can say
I too am interested in a GRC course by you josh. I did simply cyber's GRC course which was very well put together I'm just finishing up my Google cybersecurity and I'm going to start looking for a job soon.

If you previously purchased the leveld course, will you be grand fathered into the skool community when released?
Could you do a similar video on GRC and becoming a compliance auditor?

I completed Cybersecurity for Critical Urban Infrastructure through MITx and it was great for explaining the human aspect of vulnerability management.
That sounds interesting. I’ve never heard of it. Can you elaborate more on the VM aspects of it?
perfect timing for my vuln management interview tomorrow. thank you again Josh
What was your process to getting into vulnerability management?
@rwxrw how was the interview and do you have any relevant information for those interested in becoming vulnerability management professionals

Great video! Which cyber roles/segments earn the most with fewest politics (introvert+)?

Unrelated but do you have any feedback how you landed your SOC role?

Will this course be an extension or add on to your current Cybersecurity course? Asking for your current students at leveld careers lol
