New AMP MATE overview! Annealing Made Perfect

- Our new AMP MATE is nearly ready to release and we have made many improvements after the feed back we received from the original model. We forgot to mention in this video that the eject chute has been modified as well to prevent cases getting near the sensor cable and also the new PCB give more power to the servo motors.

Glad to see you made the improvements, your support was awesome, I had the gen 1 and had every single one of those issue and you sent me lots of new parts and many many emails. Runs fine now. A great addition would be alarm when it jams/errors, I made one from an Arduino and IR beam.

These things are sweet. Super easy to set up. 10:10 recommend if you are lazy like me but want good loads
I think it may be simplified to make a case feeder or modify the dillon case feeder to feed the cases upside down. stick a heating coil at the bottom of the case tube. have a stop that holds the case exposed and hanging out of the bottom of the tube. anneal it then drop it through the coil into the basket.
alternately, cut a hole in the current annealer so a case can pass through, flip it upside down. position the tube above it. make the thing that holds the case in position adjustable for height. put a catch on the tube.
I do love me a nice Rube Goldberg device. Seems a little too fiddly, though.
Rumour has it it prepares a shooter's breakfast as well while you wait!

For those of you whom don't want to Spend $100 on a Stand, very simple to make one for ~$15 3/4" Black pipe(I had to thin the OD a bit with a belt sander to fit), 3/4" Floor Flange.
Servo looks a weak when handling the 338 @12:00
Would love to purchase one but the plastic gears make me a little hesitant...anyone have any wear issues as of late?
The one in our lab has done hundreds of thousands of cycles as part of its testing and is still showing no signs of wearing out the gears.

Plastic gears will last just as long as metal gears as long as they are clean and you run them at a cool temp.
You did not send out the over annealing parts as you stated.
Hi Kevin, We sent all of our distributors the microswitch modifications (Which prevent the over annealing) with the instructions to send them to anyone who purchased an AMP Mate.

The longest and widest case the amp mate will feed is the 338LM.

It costs really well :-)

Superb tech but too much $$$ for me.
Maybe the gen 3 mate will be belt drive. That plastic gear noise gets annoying.
Hard time hearing the audio even at 100%.
That's strange, are you using headphones or external speakers? it seems fine here.

Same here, your audio is waaaay under. Had to use an amp to hear anything at all.
audio IS lower than most other videos. However, my hearing is poor yet I can hear it fine near the max setting. Sometimes people's SYSTEM volume is set on a lower setting -- you should have a look at your system volume setting.
