when you've won so many trophies that you use one to hold a wet rag to cool off your brass.
What moly does Lou use? Interested to try that in my necks!
What a fine setup! What brand is his Rest? What brand is the Primer tool? Looking at the notes on top of his annealer, He like lapua brass. I'm switching to an arbor press. It cool because you can load at the range. Thx
Can’t wait to see the results.
Looking forward to the results.
Prior to molly ing the inside of the necks, should I brush out the carbon in the necks? Please, any info with be appreciated. I’m testing both ways as I comment, just curious about your techniques and findings. Thank you!!
Thank you gentilmen.
Hi Lou !! Can you link me to your video on cleaning your barrels with drill and nylon brushes please.
Thank you
Jeff
do you know what program Lou was using? if so what is the name
What kind of moly lube do you use on the case mouth?
Can Redding dry neck lube have a similar effect as Molly on bullet seating?
We have not tested this yet. We have more work to do.
That inventory of Berger bullets is worth today more than my 401K.
Does Lou use FL Sizing dies or Bushing FL Sizing dies?
Look at all the bushings at 4:36
where do you buy the molly from
Sinclair International
Can you please explain the molly of the brass that was lightly referred to please? (neck)
I saw in the latest video that molly is something that is brushed in the neck. Still do not know the process
@@pietervandermerwe6855 where do you buy the molly from
@@paulvoorhees1842 I am not referring to the molly coating, they put something inside the brass neck which they called molly and I want to learn more about it. but they are not forth coming
@@pietervandermerwe6855 them saying they use moly inside the case is molybdenum the same stuff some people coat there bullets with its grey metallic colour
They actually answered this in this video. He said it prevents the bullet from bonding to the case. The bullet will bond to the case after being loaded and when you fire that round there is a pressure spike to overcome the stuck bullet. He said that molly stops that pressure spike. He implies that lack of pressure spike makes a more accurate round
what id give for a day in that lair to learn from this guy
What kind of Mollie. Help a guy out
To give any real validation to these tests they should all be at least single blind.
"Benchrest shooting" is not marksmanship.
