- Welcome to AMP! A lot goes into making our Annealing machine and not everyone gets to see what's involved. So here's a glimpse of what we do and also the great team of Kiwis who make it happen!

Now I understand why the high price tag. It appears the price is actually quite reasonable. I cant believe the work that goes into such a fine product. I will buy on soon.

Best laboratory grade annealler ever! Thank you so much for bringing this technology to the reloader, nothing comes close to this precision or ease of use. So easy to swich between brass and calibres and get perfect results. No wonder you're called Annealing Made Perfect!
Just bought one yesterday before they sold out in less then 2 minutes! This video has been an eye opener to how these are made...wow!! Total honesty...thought these were built in-house. Thanks for this video!

You are showing the complexity of a production but on the other hand the possibilites of todays manufacturing possibilites (eg. laser cutting of the housing) for small volumes like the AMP device (not 100.000 or millions like for a smartphone) and maintaining a very high quality. This could be a teaching leasson for other innovative Entrepreneurs. But I do not want to know the endless hours you spent to make all this happen...

I've done work like this before - designing something, taking it to production... trying to keep an eye on costs while also having your heart tell you every minute to make the best quality unit. It looks like you're there - thanks for the memories and great job.

After reloading for 10 years, I think this will make everything come together and be the icing on the cake at the end of brass prep. I respect the price tag, I know what quality costs and that it's really worth it. I need to save up some cash because here in Germany they really upsell it badly lately.
Just out of curiosity: are reloading dies controlled in Germany too? I’m under the impression that I live in the only country that you need a license to own one… 😒

Love my AMP annealer. Worth every penny I spent on it. Now if they could make the AMP Press work with an IOS like IPad.
So many steps!!! This was really cool seeing the build process. I wonder what the margins are considering the creation process. All I can say is this thing is totally worth the price.

What a relief it’s made in NZ and not farmed out to a low cost producer well I’m sure the electronic parts are but quality control and employing locals is a real bonus.

Have had very good results with this product, despite the claims of induction annealing burning the zinc out of the brass. Have not experienced premature cracking of the case neck as claimed. Thank you AMP for a great tool for people who reload and enjoy different ways to make our reloading less complicated.😀
John Barton they’re full of it. Only around the melting point do you burn out zinc.

Absolutely amazing, mine is on its way just ordered it, cant wait for it to arrive!
I like that all the IC's and Inductor circuits are designed and made locally (to Kiwi's) with no trace of chinesium in them. Just ordered mine after selling all my other chinesium induction annealing attempts. Can't wait for it.

Well after my first day of getting the AMP annealer I love it. Annealed 250 300 blackouts and about 105 308 winchesters. Extremely quick and easy, and no shutdowns due to the large round count going through it

In addition to purchasing a high quality device, I never mind paying for a really good idea. I always try to take as much subjectivity as possible out of reloading. This annealing machine, with it's AZTEC Program, makes annealing objective.

Hah love all the pop rivets, clearly you don't want people peeking. I might have to pick one up...was considering making my own induction annealer but my time is valuable as well. I do hope that internal USB cable has really positive retention or you throw a zip tie over it tho...

Has there been any indication that induction annealing provides for more precision than that of flame annealing ? I understand there is no flame involved, but does that actually matter in terms of precision shooting ?

Will you be installing a warranty center in the USA to avoid overseas shipping?
Hi Jon,
We don't have a facility in the US yet but we are considering it.
We get very few warranty returns however we arrange the shipping ourselves so all you would need to do is pack it up and we do the rest.
Turn around time is usually 7-10 days.

I noticed a direct correlation to increasing the playback speed where the music was tolerable to the production of the crew. Odd ;-)
And I thought that I was the last person on the planet using a simple hand soldering iron!

SO... You can diagnose and repair electronics, yet don't have the skill to drill out a rivet ??

lol an ESD bench with PSGs all over it, even had the smocks on.
I realize i am showing my ignorance in how things work, but i think it may be reasonable to also offer a model that uses the same power supply and coil but in the most economical housing and uses a cost effective, mass produced brain (such as a raspberry pi) and/or plugs into a separate device (pc, tablet) for control.
I still can't see $1400+ on these. Too much to go wrong with nowhere to fix it.
I really wish you didn't have that incredibly annoying noise which passes as music over an otherwise good video.
Sorry, I had to opt out at a little over 4 minutes. The assault on my senses was just too much. If you ever produce an actually enjoyable video I would love to see it.

Regardless of where it’s made, it’s extremely overpriced for what it does. As a reloader for almost 40 yrs., I’d be embarrassed to tell anyone that I paid over US $1,500 for it. It’s simply not worth it. Have you noticed how the company has NO ENDORSEMENTS from any professional bench rest shooters. No shooter with any common sense would endorse such a “device”. I’m certain the machine does what it claims to do, but the $1,500+ price is ridiculous. What’s that old saying about a fool and his money? LOL!!
