Ugin the Ineffable's +1 ability does not in fact trigger Kadena's draw ability. While Ugin wants more than anything to Manifest some morphs facedown, he is nothing but a poser. Though his cost reduction ability is more than enough of a reason to keep him in the 99.
His two loyalty abilities are also still generically good, too. They're not manifests, but they are extra creatures that net you a card on death, and he's premium removal too.
I actually really love this video. Until earlier last night, I thought you could cast creatures on the field back to facedown for three blanks. Recently started but this video really gives a good basis for upgrading the premade build.
cool attempt at the deck tech! I personally build her pretty aggressively with Vela, the night clad, muraganda petroglyphs and timur war shaman. Playing morph since time spiral
ok you said that ugin triggers kadena, but i personally do not see why ugins plus should be able to do that since the face-down card is in exile. could someone explain to me why that interaction works?
Sure, with most commander's you can include effective combos to win, if that's your speed, Animar is no different. But morphs can also be a fun surprise for anyone at the table. We recommend checking out our most recent VOD gameplay

It's not even a facedown card on the battlefield, but in exile...
Correct.

I was thinking the same thing. The exiled card and the spirit token are separate permanents
Could i use the token 2/2s to pilot some nice vehicle as a strategy?

I think she's going to be sneaky strong. People underestimate the free morph and draw.
Most definitely. Like Arcades and Sram card draw in the Command Zone is not to be trifled with.
Very nice video! Exactly what I was looking for.
Happy to help. Tell your friends about us!
@@EDHCommander99 I will do! :D

Reid has some experience with an Animar Morph deck that's a lot of to play against.
I'd be interested in your list if you're willing to share! I'm building Kadena now. This is the most fun I've had with a precon!
What other cards make it more aggressive?
Hey I have those cards in my deck too but I realised the first two are kind of a nonbo together. Doesn't the intimidate make it lose the boost?

You are correct Ugin's ability does not trigger Kadena's ability. It's only a pseudo facedown creature. We'll be pinning a comment to clarify.
I find the elves ramp into aluren cloudstone labman combo pretty effective with this deck

I'll look into that. This morph deck is my only deck atm so im testing different angles.
Ugin can't trigger Kadena right?
That's correct. I think we may have clarified that in a future video.
