What is the maximum throughput/speed for an NVMe SSD in this system? The manual seems to say it supports Gen 4.0, but is limited to 3.0 speeds for some reason. I don't want to splash out a lot of money on something like a Samsung 990 Pro only to find out it's crippled to half its speed...
I added exta 16GB of RAM and now the laptop is hotter and fan makse more noise. Have any of you noticed this problem? I added Samsung 16GB DDR4 3200MHz SO-DIMM RAM
I try with several memory from Samsung, Hynix, Micron n Kingston. All of them are 8GB 3200AA. Samsung Hynix n Micron working normally n not with Kingston.
You can only add another stick of RAM memory and then if the manufacturer (Lenovo) did a setup originally for RAM to run in dual channel together with the integrated one, it will run, there isn't really a possibility to change or influence this.
yes i think so. look up your computer E14 gen 2 and check whether it’s dual channel (two ram slots). like the gen 3, it probably has one slot soldered, meaning it’s almost like glued to the computer, and the other slot can be changed
with 57 wh battery and ryzen 5 5625u company offers 15 hours of battery backup on pure normal usage. but how much can i really get in real life with minimum brighness no wifi turn on, and watching movies or videos or just browning some local documents..
I don't really know different conditions of usage have to be tested in order to know. Probably when new laptop will go for up to 3h with no problem, then over time battery always deteriorates so you will get less and less.

When I open my task manager and check under the performance tab and click on the memory, it does not show the ddr number. Is this normal?
Thanks bro. Much appreciated ❤

Hello, thank you for the video. Is it possible to use both SSD slots?
Yes, of course you can install two m.2 SSDs (NVMEs), and they will work together.

Obviously either there's something wrong with Kingston memory, or that series of RAM are not compatible with this laptop.
Hello, the item says it is thicker (with dual side ssd) SABRENT 1TB Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 2242. Will it fit on the secondary slot?
Hello, you shouldn't have any problems, as these SSDs all follow the standard sizes.
Hello @Johnreznick - did the SABRENT 1TB Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 2242 ssd fit in properly, I too have the same question. appreciate your help
I used 8 gb 3200 mhz ram but after 2 days my laptop keep crashing. I removed the ram and now no issue.
Can you provide some solution.
Either the RAM is faulty, or it's just not compatible with the laptop's motherboard.

E14 gen 2 how many slot of RAM?
Can i add 1 more RAM in gen2 ?

It’s about 9 hours. If you watching video on streaming and brightness 80% or web browsing, its about 5-6 hours.
Is it worth to buy this Laptop?
