Let's not forget what he achieved with Aberdeen...two European trophies, defeating the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, European Champions at the time Hamburg for the Euro Super Cup, Ipswich etc etc. That arguably is his greatest achievement. Aberdeen are still statistically the most successful Scottish club in European competition.
let us not forget the shit football his teams played. he will never be remembered as a manager who elevated the sport to art.

Kevin Davies Clough had the dosh to sign the first 1 million pound player in the UK. I thought you implied he was skint?. Oh and Ferguson has won the league 16 times in 2 countries,whilst Clough only won it twice in one country.

Most games all time and best win percentage out of any manager with more than 1000 games except perenial scottish managers. And I think it goes without saying a wins harder at the helm of united than Celtic.

They also had a huge amount of dodgy decisions during his time ESPECIALLY during the treble season. Added time, that didnt exist, , penalties with no contact and of course being allowed to score a goal when the referee had given a free kick to the other team ( yes that happened) and the ref did nothing. @@@satva7629

Good to watch. Even though this was like 6 years ago lol. Some of the players are probably a lot older now, but still enjoyed watching Manchester United play as a kid and growing up.

Just such an honour to have become a fan of this football club and under his management. This is why city and chelsea will never be as big no matter how good their squad is at the moment. United is a unique club, transformational from kids to superstars and a global brand not dependent FULLY on a massive transfer budget. A lot of you anti United fans will say we've spent heavily? Yes but where did that money come from? That's the difference.

I guess to educate yerself watch a few Billy Connolly or even sean connory interviews that have the subtitles.......then watch a local thing we have like chewing the fat to understand the street slang we have :)
