    Very good guide. However, I would leave the snapshot checked, as snapshots are one of the best features of opensuse and, as a rolling release, it might save you.

    does it let you switch from wayland to x11?

      On the lower left side of the login screen next to virtual keyboard. There is desktop sessions. There are 3 options to select..Wayland, IceWM session and x11. So you can choose.
