Lovely to catch up, you make such beautiful things, I love the walnuts, gorgeous. Can’t believe it’s December tomorrow, take care, looking forward to vlogmas with you ❤
OMG the wee mouse house!!! Maybe, name-wise, Imelda the Mouse? I think all the colours in your mitts are super lovely & they are going to look great. Good to hear about your Vlogmas, I will be watching over at Dawn’s Days 🎄👍✨
Those fingerless mittens are awesome, Dawn! I love doing colorwork as well. I use post-it notes to move up or down on the chart to keep up with the pattern, for I also don't have a magnetic board. Might be a little bit more fiddly than a board, but works great! Thanks for sharing and inspiring! 🥰
Ooh, Vlogmas is coming, how lovely and I can't wait!!! The Mouse House is coming on a treat, the bed mattress is identical to the feather mattress mam and dad had in the 1940's which they probably had used since they got married in 1929 and, do you know, I can't remember if they ever bought a modern bed - but I don't think so. It was absolutely the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on and used to creep in beside mam after dad had left for work!!! All your makes are gorgeous and the cards you bought are fab. xx
Them were the days hey Maureen 😍 I remember my grandparents twin beds in the guest room. They had really heavy eiderdowns and candlewick bedspreads on them, I can still remember the feeling of lying in them and my nanna tucking me in ❤️❤️
Hi Dawn!! Lovely to see you on either channel!! I’m working in my bottom up yoke jumper,I’ve decided to send all my finished objects to Ukraine! The last thing my family wants is hand knit items, they have so much. All if my wips will be gifted! I did finish the fairy ring cardigan and keeping that- it came out beautiful and the John Arbon yarn is gorgeous, smells like sheep and the cats love sleeping on it! I love your mouse and house, I downloaded a fabulous knitted frog pattern yesterday which I’ll make with leftovers, can’t wait for vlogmas or anything you post!!
Hi Nancy lovely to hear from you as always 😁😘 my gosh your hand knitted anything will be greatly appreciated in Ukraine what a thoughtful thing to do 🥰 I love sniffing socks when I'm knitting them lol I know only a knitter wouldn't judge me for that!! 🤣🤣🤣 Looking forward to vlogmas. Take care my lovely 😘
Hi, you have been busy. As usual I love it all (what’s not to love when it’s handmade🥰). Great idea with the cards, and I love your Mouse House. If you keep making stuff you can change the themes of the room seasonally (that’s an excuse not to stop - besides it’s therapeutic! I’m also making the cardigan but we’re going into summer and I’m not feeling the colours I chose 🥺. Keep up the good work - slowly slowly, don’t create any more problems for yourself. Thanks for the video and I’ll see you over at Dawns Days. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Bye from Australia 🐨🦘👋🏻👋🏻
