I’m knitting the Whitmoor cardigan, it’s my first top down on circular needles and I’m loving it. My first time watching you, love your style, I came over from the lovely Crafty Clegg x
Oh how lovely, welcome welcome Jeanette's fab isn't she 🥰 I really fancy having a go at the cardigan but I want to tackle either the Lovenote or Ranunculus first 🤞😘
Hi Dawn, I just knew you were going to show the colourwork jumper! Yes, I remember it and think it'll be perfect for those cold days. As for a lacy cardigan, don't worry - mam just used to drop stitches all the time and never bother to pick them back up - lace without the effort 🤣, of course the thing disintegrated more and more until it was unwearable ha ha. Love the geese - and the wreath and holder. I think the wreath could be made with willow. Rachel once bought me a willow weaving course as a present and I made a huge angel to put in the garden. That was many years ago and the angel is long gone. Glad you're feeling and sounding better xx
I'm definitely good at dropping stitches Maureen 🤣🤣🤣 I can imagine willow weaving is pretty tough on your joints but it must be amazing to make your own baskets. Don't get me started 🤣🤣🤣😘
I remembered!! 👏 Your Jay sweater! When you asked! I think it looks very nice. I have a dark teal yarn to make myself a Whitmoor Cardigan. I plan to begin it soon! This week hopefully! I'm almost done with Ellie's Country Garden socks pattern. Oh yes, I want to make an Ariana cardigan too. So many pretty patterns and not enough time in the day. Your Easter bag and yarn from Jeanette is so sweet. I love those socks. 💖
Hi Dawn what a great array of makes I love them all you are very talented. I especially loved your shawl the colours are working up beautifully I think I may have to put that on my to do list. Thank you for sharing your makes x
A long overdue catch up of woven almanac.. a wet dull day here in Aberdeenshire so no distractions and enjoying a relaxing time watching you today. Gorgeous makes Dawn. Love the socks your knitting. Are they knitted in dk?? That colour would be perfect for my husband and wondering if they can be made longer. He works our dogs in the wintertime at local estates. These would look fab with his plus 4 trousers. ❤❤❤
You have certainly been doing well with sock making - such beautiful socks! How gorgeous is the crème egg yarn and project bag from Jeanette?! I hope you manage to keep going with the Jay sweater - the colourwork looks so lovely. I don’t often make garments but I’m tempted by that one! Thanks for a lovely podcast x
Dawn, I started the CONFECTIONERY cardigan for Advent and I kept up all month and then it stalled at the sleeves. It was a great pattern for minis and worked side to side so slimming 😂 vertical stripes.
Love your podcast.. also really like your hair ..I'm totally gray ..but decided to color mine chocolate brown..and I love it..sorry you didn't feel well..enjoyed seeing your crafting..really nice..❤
Oh I'm so happy you're pleased with it. I did toy with the idea of going grey but my hairdresser had a look last year and said I was only about 20% grey so she advised against it... For now 🤣😘
Hi Dawn I'm a new subscriber I'm Michelle from Northern Ireland. I found you through Jeanette Clegg lol aww she's lovely. All your makes are beautiful I love your shawl ❤ Really enjoyed the podcast x
Hi Michelle welcome to the channel, always lovely to hear from one of our Jeanette's viewers. Thanks so much for commenting, it's great to hear where everyone is from 🥰😘
Hi there, I'm absolutely intrigued.... could you do a tutorial on how you purl continental? I have issues pulling continental as well. I'm an English style, but sometimes need the option because of aches and pains as well! Lovely to see your projects. ❤
Good luck with the Ariana cardi it’s like a jigsaw I had to put a numbered sticker on each square lol maybe I’m thick any way it was very big so try as you go
Hi Dawn , which size did you make for the cosy Autumn socks in , like you I always do a 64 st cast on , do you think if I did the 60 st cast on & used a 2. 5 mm needle instead of the 2. 25 this would work x

I'm trying to build myself up to tackle it 🤣🤣🤣🤣😘
Hi Dawn, Do you like the Dahlia cardigan, by Le Knit . Just a suggestion for one with lace. I had to keep rewinding to hear you say Scheepjes!
Hi Pene, no I haven't but I'm definitely going to check it out thanks for the tip xx I actually have a short video of how to pronounce it 🤣🤣🤣😘
@@thewovenalmanac I watch that too!! xx

Hi June, yes that's exactly what I'm doing. 30 stitches and increased 1 needle size. Good luck 😁😘
