      @@PlantsAmore also i wasn't thinking consciously of this video this morning but i saved some lemon seeds from an unusually sweet tasting lemon that i had sitting in the fridge for what i thought was too long. I cut it open and smelled it to check and it might have been the least sour I've ever had. I remembered this video right before i bagged them, rather than throwing them in the trash. Thank you again, our creator's blessings are very real, I'm guessing you hoped for one for me, hopes and prayers possibly are the same thing. Hopes, coupled with faith to try and love(care), seem to be carried out even when we can't physically ensure they are ourselves. Sometimes the most we can try is to think. But wishing well is entirely better than nothing at all or something bad.

    Nice jaboticaba range
    I got the apricot taste in them with a floral woodsy taste, not much flesh but I liked and interesting
    Tree is beautiful
    Nice story with the lychee, I would not of been able to say no to anyone asking at the door but that might be my upbringing
    I don’t know how anyone could refuse in your scenario at the time
    If someone was pinching from my tree on the other hand, it would not end up in a friendly scenario if I caught them 🌋
    I think it might of been a surprise and first reaction from them might of been we don’t want this to start happening on regular but then started to realise your situation etc
    Good luck with the jabos

      @@Coolclimatetropicalfruits same here Neil, I love the fruit! I am not gonna lie when they refused to share when I first asked it was like a punch in the gut ... since it wasn’t natural to knock on their door to begin with (my anxiety already was high to knock on a stranger door)... but when finally they agreed to one fruit the lady came out seemed like she understood my reasoning. I had to have a taste for my baby! I remember as a kid collecting wild strawberries 🍓 they are tiny with a huge flavor , so even to collect a cup of them you have to pick 1000 ... long hours worth of collecting and many miles walked ... anyways on the way back , a pregnant lady was walking by me and asked for them because of the craving ... I shared some so she got her fix , but I understand the feeling when you get the working in and somebody just want to take it it’s no fun, but if someone asks nicely for some it’s a different story!

    • @PlantsAmore
      @PlantsAmore  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ha ha , it all depends if I get prego again... I will do everything for my babies , even knocking on stranger’s 🚪 ! I did watch your video and heard you saying you will plant lychee seed, if I may , try to graft them so you will have fruit a lot faster . But if you are a very patient person seed grown trees can be fun 🤩 it’s like a surprise, because you don’t know exactly what you will get . I mean if it’s better or worst than the parent tree fruits. I did have good luck with my Longan what I grew from seed , it flowered first time this year 5-6 years old .
