Regarding why it has headphone jack: It's for the convenience. Have you tried to adjust the volume on the controller 🎧 jack? It is not that easy to do especially when during a online gaming. You have to hold down the Xbox button and find the volume control. VS the monitor, all you have to do is to press 1 button to either raise or lower the volume. It's kind of like when Bill Gates and Steve B. laughed at Apple whenever Steve Jobs announced the original IPhone.
The X Screen looks so much cleaner. Having to connect wires and an additional power adapter for the other is a deal breaker, might as well just get any portable monitor by that point, and the plastic on the side looks pretty bad and makes it larger. The X Screen looks like something Microsoft could sell as an official accessory, while the other is just some cheap knockoff looking deal, just kinda funky by comparison.
I'd love to use my xbox series s more often, especially on the go, but I'd love to eventually get one and play some games while traveling by plane, I'll get the carring case so it's easier to play with it
Why not just get a portable monitor and get whatever size that you need and only thing you have to do to power it is a USBC. Then it can also be used for your computer or other gaming devices.
There is a more expensive QHD 165Hz option out there as well which is the one I want. You're able to plug other devices in as well which makes it more versatile as a second monitor or playing your switch on a bigger screen.
@@RGGeek Say what? I'm struggling to envision the logistics of someone pulling out and plugging in an Xbox + screen on an airplane or a train and having that all work well (or at all). If you need to play in that scenario, buy a device with a decent GPU (e.g. ROG phone or a beefier laptop) and install games locally.
No as they're molded to connect to a Series S. For a One S though I'm sure there's something for it, and you could just buy one of the many portable monitors on sale for about half what these sell for.
XSX is made for 4K gaming so no point of playing it on a 1080p screen. The XSS is a better pairing for 1080p or 1440 gaming. It's a similar experience as you get quick resume and fast loading as well.
I would just get a Steam Deck, I can play PC games, retro games ( emulation ), Xbox game pass, and if I am at home Remote PS4/PS5 or even Remote into my PC.
Out of all consoles to concern yourself with playing portably, why the Xbox ? That system has so few exclusives that your better off just putting that money into a laptop.
If you already had a series s to plug into your TV at home, and wanna play it on the go sometimes, this is a better option than getting a steam deck. It's also a bigger screen. But if your main goal in the first place is portability, and you don't have a series s, then I agree with you.
Its crazy that you guys made this video, I recently got my XSCREEN last week and love.
I hope there will be a portable monitor that will come with a battery someday. Only time will tell.
3:09 second HDMI for Mi TV Stick
Can you still play your digital games if your Xbox isn’t on with the stream deck?

How does the G Story monitor compare to these?
The g story is similar to the depgi one however the xscreen is better than both of them in terms of price and value
Pretty sure that's just a rebranded version of the same monitor.
Honestly. There both Flipping good! 😁👍
I remember these being popular with the original xbox and playstation 1

ik this was a year ago would it work with the original xbox one if not any suggestions?
Those are some cool displays but I will prefer xcloud on my tablet. Xcloud plays good as a home console.
Basically adapting your XBox into a much bulkier, but cheaper, gaming laptop. A niche market, but amazing for those it serves. 👍
Nice vid man

No sound in video
Just buy a Portable HDMI Monitor Or a portable projector. Its better and can be used for more devices.

I use my Blu-ray player on the 2 hdmi
Wouldn't it be easier to pair a phone or laptop with an Xbox xCloud or Nvidia GeForceNow subscription in lieu of doing all of this?
Not if you want to play somewhere that doesn’t have stable Internet like on a train or airplane.

Is there such thing for Playstation?
I actually jus found out today that there is one for the ps5 all I did was search portable ps5 on TH-cam and found it
They need to make one for the series X now
They do have one
that thing is too heavy.
@@mikrobyo1790 The PS5 is much heavier

HDmi 2 is perfect for switch and the headphone jack is good for a desk setup with good speakers...
X screen is my fav luv from brooknam
I’m not hauling this thing around. I’m convince that you can game via high end tablets. End of a console era?
Personally I’d just use my switch and if I really needed to play a Xbox game then xcloud on my tablet

At that point just buy a gaming laptop and game on that better
