Better to catch that while putting together on the bench then while its the the car running. Could have been worse. Good eye. Never a good feeling though. Always good info in your videos, thanks for what you do.
Yes it'll been a lot worst man! Got the piston exhanged and it took about 4 days coz of the weekend. It's a go green for the build again and thanks man
Yeah man! It's not really my habbit of checking a brand new pistons when it arrives but no worries. Things are looking good and thanks for ebay protection. I thought l can never get it replaced. Thanks bruh!
Hey buddy, I'm currently building a G22 right now. But I'm concerned about the engine harness. What kind engine harness are you running? Stock Accord harness? I got a 97 Accord with F22B1 on it. Thank you in advance!!
You can use your Accord engine harness. You just need to add wires for Vtec, if you have EX model, no need for it. You need to lengthen wires for your Iacv. You can buy a crank position conversion harness to connect it to obd1 dizzy or you can make one. I'm using stock harness thar I added and lengthen some wires.
Nippon Pistons are made in China, they are not made in Japan as they say. The NPR rings are also China counterfeits. Nippon pistons crack like crazy. I use OEM Pistons on my 450whp RSX daily for the last three years with no issues. People won't listen about China Nippon.
It all depend on the piston you use. If using usdm rsx type S piston. It wont hurt the motor. As long as you dont use put a hi lift cams. Always a good idea to clay the engine if using hi lift cams. I'm thinking of claying the engine. That way we'll see how much clearance on piston relief and valve.

I hope all is well brother.
Yes! Got the piston replacement after 5 days. So everything is good and thanks bruh!

Lucky for me that Ebay have a protection program. I got it all fixed up, it took some days but we're on the sched still. Thanks

If you decide to use your 97 Accord harness, you need a ecu conversion harness. Obd2 to obd1 to connect to ecu
Oh no!! 😮
Lucky l caught it though man! Could've been worst if l didnt see it. Thanks man
Can the Nippon pistons type r be used ??
Yes, type r or Ctr. It's up to your prefered build comp ratio. Check out allmotorvtech, he's using a type r piston.

Never knew about Nippon racing piston conunterfeit, thanks for the headsup
I have people telling me that you aren’t supposed to run them rotated. Is this true?
