    Hey Bob and Brad! My occasional shoulder pain has now become much worse and I am looking for exercises to help relieve the pain. I had bought resistance bands during the pandemic when the gyms were closed. But, they were not delivered until way after the gym opened up.... as they came from China! I had never used them bc I returned to the gym. Today, I recalled that I have them stored away and decided to look for solutions to my shoulder pain using bands. That is when I found you guys! This one video has provided so much insight into how to use resistance training to eliviate shoulder pain. I listened to your video once, then set up the bands and I listened again, doing these three exercises. Honestly, I notice relief already!!! I intend to continue this at-home exercise plan in the hopes that I am able to move my right arm without pain. I will check back with you both later to let you know how I am doing. Thank You, thank You!! I send my best to you and to yours!! Greetings sent from Boca Raton, Florida.

    I'm 69yr...and I be darn, I trip easier and fall much more than normal, I recently tripped on a corner of a flat rug, fell with the force of a jet engine, injured my right shoulder, rotatory cuff, so says the doctor, I refused MRI, went home in full pain mode, and I am doing all of the exercises you guys have shown me, I can tell it is helping, but I am still in pain, my right is my main side, now on my left I am having carpal tunnel issues again, I had surgery for this years ago....thank you for the helpful videos.

    I don't know if you are still monitoring these older videos, but I injured my rotator cuff two years ago. I go to Kaiser Hospital in California and my PT gave me these exercises to do. Only, I couldn't do them. I was too weak and it was painful. They just told me to keep trying. I can do them now after two years, but I have a problem with when I put my injured arm across my body and downward there is a terrific pain in my arm just below the bicep. To release it I have to raise my arm to the sky for a couple of seconds. The motion that brings this on is like when a guy crosses his arms in front of his waist and reaches downward to grab the ends of his tshirt to pull it over his head. I told my current PTs about this, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. I sure hope you can help me!! Thanks.

    Great advice. I've been doing those exercises(except for the lower pull where you pinch your blades together) for about 2 years now and it's made a great difference with my rotator cuffs. Instead of the low pull, i've being doing a higher pull at eye level. I'm not sure if they have different benefits but i'll try the low pull as well and see if it improves anything. Thanks for the vid.

    Not sure if it's rotator cuff, it's more in the back area, but these are very helpful I can feel it stretching, hopefully the pain will be gone soon :) It's nothing too bad, probably just due to my bad form when lifting.

    I just discovered your channel. Very helpful. I have been dealing with rotator cuff pain off and on for about 3 years. I have done cortisone shots, PT and meds. Was told by one doc that I had bursitis and most recently told that I have severe rotator cuff tendonitis. All I know is that it keeps coming back and is very painful. About to try acupuncture and these exercises. Hope they help.

    • @qtkira33
      @qtkira33 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much. I'll give these a try. I had an appointment this morning with the orthopedic surgeon and he gave me a cortisone shot in each shoulder. He said I can start the exercises at home in a couple of days once the pain stops. Also have 6 weeks of physical therapy. Love your videos and your personalities! Keep it up.

    I broke my collarbone late July last year, shoulder still hasn't recovered full mobility, and loses even more mobility when holding weight and or when bent at the elbow.
    I'm hoping these exercises will help regain mobility and strength, but at this point, I have my doubts.
