In the field of new energy vehicles, innovation and upgrading of charging technology have always been the focus of the industry. At the "2024 Huawei Intelligent Electric & Smart Charging Network Strategy and New Product Launch" on April 24th, the development of intelligent charging networks was showcased. Hou Jinlong, President of Huawei Digital Energy, proposed the "Three-sided Integration" electricization strategy: utilizing new energy vehicles powered by new energy electricity, promoting high-quality charging, and enhancing the driving experience of new energy vehicles. The goal is to promote the development of electric vehicles through intelligent coordination.
Is this true? Dear audience! Welcome back to our channel! I'm excited to share and discuss today's topics with the audience: 1. How does the SuperCharge Alliance achieve a win-win situation for car manufacturers, operators, and city managers? 2. How does Huawei's liquid-cooled supercharging system help charging infrastructure move towards high-quality, high-efficiency, and intelligence? 3. How will this outbreak of new productivity affect the development path and future pattern of China's new energy vehicle industry?
Huawei SuperCharge Alliance and the liquid-cooled supercharging system demonstrate significant potential in the innovation of intelligent charging networks, promoting the high-quality development of charging networks and bringing new opportunities to the new energy vehicle industry. China's charging network has developed rapidly. By the end of 2023, there were 8.596 million charging piles, including 2.726 million public charging piles, with a ratio of 2.4:1 for vehicles to piles. However, public charging piles still face issues such as uneven quality and insufficient interconnection, partly due to the large number and dispersion of charging operators, leading to the formation of "isolated islands" of charging piles.
Challenges faced by electric vehicle owners include difficulties in finding charging piles, poor compatibility, and cumbersome charging processes. Experts point out that these problems involve physical facilities, software systems, and settlement mechanisms. To address these issues, the SuperCharge Alliance led by Huawei is of great significance. The alliance, jointly established by Huawei Digital Energy and 11 car manufacturers, over 500 charging operators, and industry associations, will attract more partners to build the ecosystem together in the future.
Experts believe that the establishment of the SuperCharge Alliance aims to build the ecosystem together, providing ultimate charging experience and extensive coverage, supporting the purchase of new energy vehicles, enabling car manufacturers to focus on vehicle manufacturing, operators to efficiently establish stations, and cities to govern more efficiently and safely. The alliance integrates technology to build a supercharging network, with Huawei Digital Energy breaking barriers between operations, regions, and systems, achieving interoperability of charging facilities, simplifying user experience,
