I was surprised when you pulled power on your Skybridge Plus hotspot without shutting it down first. I seem to remember the instructions recommended that you not do that for fear of possible SD card corruption.
Greg, you are right about that, and I actually didn't know that at the time. I'll be doing an update in the future showing how to power down correctly. Thanks.
Greg is absolutely correct. Sometimes the write buffer is not completely written to the SD card which, if the hotspot is just 'unplugged' it will leave one or more files corrupted. In a perfect world, one would power down the hotspot using the Pi'-Star shutdown command, but that is not always possible. All the more reason to make a backup SD card.

Much simpler and native solution: the ‘pistar-clone’ command.
No need to power off the hotspot nor take out the existing SD card.
This ONLY works if the target is equal or larger than the source.
Another concern is that life span for SD card is usually doesn't get over 10 years.
Very true. Best to back them up, its only a matter of time till it fails.
Thank you
You are welcome. This has already saved me more than once.
