How is it "disconnect" when she herself came out of some of the shittiest circumstances a person could live through? Speaking for the way life is in the U.S., poverty could become a mindset if you convince yourself you will be in poverty forever, and do nothing to bring yourself out of it. That is 100% a mindset. It's odd however that you won't give her the proper credit and benefit of the doubt considering she has changed her situation for the better.

Janelle has some serious ingrained misogyny. From what she's shared in this video, particularly the detail about being sex trafficked for 10 years, she's likely experienced 10 years of emotional abuse, and has been manipulated and falsely "liberated" into these beliefs. It would be great to see her experience true genuine respect from inside and out, she's been so manipulated into this "thing" that she seems to feel is her only true self, fulfilling her worth the only way she knows how. It’s kind of funny to me that these women were all displaying typically masculine associated traits(being confident, out spoken, protective, a leader, etc..) and yet the way they so quickly dismissed the idea that masculine/feminine is determined person to person is just so funny to me. Also the complete frustration I had to endure listening to them go on and on about the female vs male mind was just… so closed minded not because these are not factors to consider but because they refused to see the diversity that is the human mind and even if a field is naturally dominated by one gender or another it should not be that your stance is to permanently exclude any of those who would have been able to helpfully contribute to those fields on the basis of prejudice. It’s so sad seeing how one track mind these anti-feminists are because they are living proof that there are women with something powerful to contribute to the world that isn’t just being a mother figure. I have so much more to say but yeah

As if emotions are bad, part of being human, if you speak about emotions you are too emotional. And then men are seen as non emotional and logical, when so often men just arent in touch with their emotions or talk about them, causing them to actually act out very emotionally and impulsively because to control your own emotions, it helps to at least try understanding them!

By "too emotional" they are implying "more likely to act without ration". I don't necessarily agree, but I think there is an uncomfortable truth here about gender differences that people are afraid to admit - which is: women are more neurotic on average. This is an actual psychological fact. And they cycle their emotions in many ways that keep them from being as objective as men can be.
