I noticed during Imperatur's video that anyone could drive a truck into the tunnel under the Air Force base and blow it up! For security I'd recommend moving the tunnel. Sydney airport has a similar issue.
That might not be as bad as it sounds. Don't get me wrong, you'd want to overbuild the tunnel, but you might be surprised by how eager pressure is to find the path of least resistance. Plus, the kinds of people who are fond of blowing things up seem to like to go for death toll rather than crippling infrastructure.
Totally not necessary. You know how military spending goes. It would have been cheaper to route it away from the base, but the contractor has inside connections with the government, so they opted for a 100x budget and made the tunnel super-duper-quadruply-triplely extra specially reinforced.
I feel like the train warehouse would make sense here since the plastic is across the map. A train would transport it quicker than by truck. Another enjoyable video 👍
What about 'Shaz's Perch' for the fishing district? A quick Google tells us - "Perch are a handsome and bold fish... and are a popular sports fish that are known to put up a fight." Sounds Sharon-y.
For the 1-way loop near the service interchange, the turn onto the highway is pretty sharp for a truck to get on the highway. You could switch the way the 1-way loop flows to prevent such a sharp turn.
So this game has had and still has 1 problem that mostly goes unnoticed, wonky heightscaling. Its goes unnoticed because of the top down isometric view but becomes more obvious when you go down low with the camera. Once you see it, it cant be unseen. Compare the dock/pier height and by extention the keywall height to something like the trains that are passing. They are WAAAY above the waterline. Same goes for the pedestrian bridges, there is no need for them to be that tall when you compare them to the height of a truck going under them. The heightscaling is also often easy to see with how damn steep most sandy beaches are, with a massive height differance between waterline and the top of the beach. Also mountains/hills are usually way to tall for the base footprint. This can be fixed by going down lower with the camera more often and simply looking at height differances.
Wonderful build, love a fishing industry and it came together super nicely! I have a name suggestion for the district. Since roe is the name for fish eggs and it's part of Sharon, the marina could be called Sharoen
For the on-ramp onto the highway your first oneway configuration was alot better. With the current layout, you force trucks to basically take U-turn to get from the industry oneway towards the on-ramp to the highway.
Great build! I am such a fan of that elevated railway line and surprised a fishing industry harbor could look so good (Which says a lot about my builds lol ). Love your work.
I don't know how many assets you have left that you haven't used, but if you make a list of all the assets, it could give us a better grasp on what you have left, and come up with a plethora of ideas utilising all the assets. Just an idea! 👍
With the fishing harbour in regards to the salmon, what if you had a fishing line go near Sharon and the nuclear plant for some funny screenshots with fishing trawlers going past the nuclear power plant. They would go nuclear fishin’. Great video Egg!
I dont know if its just a console thing, but you can snap water facing buildings into roads. It's a little temperamental, but works 80% if the time. What this means is that it snaps to the hight of the road and doesn't do that annoying bump in elevation that you get if you place the building by itself.
Finally catching up on these videos I'm a bit behind. Really like how this canal has developed. Always enjoy an egg fishing harbor. Awesome build as always 🤙
Love me some fishing, even if it doesn't have the best smell. But I bet the waste processing is worse than the fish, actually... Very nice build again!
A good name for the marina would be "Sharon's Salmon port" makes sense that Sharon sells the radioactive salmon 😂. Gives it extra flavour 😋 ☢. With the exit of the kanal, i see in most marina/kanals that the exit is more of a funnel look that just a rectangular look. Could also open doors to have more lines through the kanal
@34:48 Sharon is a what? 😆 On a serious note, looks great. At the extreme risk of falling in with the 🚅 👮♀, I do think embanking that train line all the way around the curve would be the way to go. Just all seems a bit janky at the moment.
Awesome stuff. I’m sure the residents of Sharon will learn to love the smell of fish 🐠 For the district name, I got a really corny one, Sharonchovy??? or Sharonchovy Harbour or something like thta Btw: was this filmed before the imperatur vid?
Since the salmon are in the rivers, could you send the salmon fishers up the river/canal instead of down into the ocean? If you switch the two harbors their paths won't cross. Then you can keep the rivermouth the same width as the rest of the river, which might help with keeping it from running dry periodically. Otherwise you might need to add an extra water spawning point just upriver from the new harbor.
The train track that's joining the mainline should have a single track spit off and either dive under or fly over the mainline and then join up to avoid conflicting moves. The track diverging should be a single track until the point where the other track diverges.
Will you post any Project Zomboid videos? I’ve been binging other channels since I discovered the game from you. I’d loved to hear you freaking out during a play through. 😂
I asked the same question on the live stream 4 weeks ago (cycling interchanges & ocean front parks), Egg showed his tree brush 1 hour and 19 seconds in. Hope it helps.

Gta army base has a similar issue as well

Interstate 5 literally goes through Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington state.

One of the best [the best in my eyes] vanilla creators for this game. You make a game look so realistic! One of my favorite builds
Wow, thanks, appreciate the kind words 😊
@OVERCHARGEDEGG you deserve more than just kind words!
I love the build, but I don't get why the train line still joins the road at a crossing...why not keep it going over the road and then come down?
I was going to comment the same. Lol Lovely build but the was the only part that confused me a little.
I feel like a water outlet near the sea weed farm would help with the low water issue
As always great video
I think the Brooklyn and Queens buildings give off a really strong converted warehouse vibe.
For sure!
What about 'Shaz's Perch' for the fishing district? A quick Google tells us - "Perch are a handsome and bold fish... and are a popular sports fish that are known to put up a fight." Sounds Sharon-y.
This is such a nicely crafted area with all of the harbor vibes. It really creates a nice bookend to the city on this side.

Impressive build. Thanks Egg, appreciate it
My pleasure!
You have an elevated train line go to ground turn a corner and then elevate again. Imo it might be better to just elevate the whole thing
Definitely think the waste processing complex fits into the build. And always happy to see some fire helicopter depot appreciation

Nice one. In terms of the x-industrial converted houses. The 2x3 green cities or the B+Q are solid shouts
With the fishing harbour in regards to the salmon, what if you had a fishing line go near Sharon and the nuclear plant for some funny screenshots with fishing trawlers going past the nuclear power plant. They would go nuclear fishin’. Great video Egg!
You could call the marina 'Sharon's Haddock Paddock' 😂😂
really nice way to fill that space, I hope cities 2 will fix that problem with water based buildings sitting so far above the water.
Those fishing harbours are grinding my gears 😂 I had the same issue recently ! but if you place the roads on level ground they snap on nicely!

Great build Egg! Glad you liked the name suggestion!
I'm sure Sharon's Special Smoked Seafood is gonna be a hit throughout Terreggia!! 😂
Wow! Expanding the Territory of Orchid Bay, love it!!!
Very nice build and good ideas. Love the extra Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 music too.
That angle exiting the industrial ramp is ridiculous!!
Sharon’s Tackle and Grapple Marina!!!
I know it's dumb but I think Sharon's marina should be named Sharina. I too am very excited to play Starfield!
I like the accidentally tidal fishing harbour. More realistic imo.
Fit 'n' Sit Harbor
Was not expecting the answer to "What to build when you hit that awkward tile boundary" to be "Let's make Sharon smell like fish in Cities Skylines"
Great build 👍

Bless the return of the Galaxy Map music
lol'd at "Sharon's Fish Fingers" 😂
Awesome stuff. I’m sure the residents of Sharon will learn to love the smell of fish 🐠
For the district name, I got a really corny one, Sharonchovy??? or Sharonchovy Harbour or something like thta
Btw: was this filmed before the imperatur vid?
Big brain name
It was filmed before imps build! We'll fawn next time 😊 great name!
"back to The Wonderful world of Sharon" aaand theres a building on fire. lol
Nice. I do wonder about having a seaweed farm in the harbour basin. Those basin gets awfully polluted.
But this is a game...
That little starfield popup made me smile. Hope you'll enjoy it :) Have looooot's of fun !!!
The mass effect music HITS
Can't wait!

"Lets make Sharon Smell Like Fish" was a superb line.
Shalmon
A starfield playthrough perhaps? I'd watch
11:05 Use the Small open for fish so Sharon smells more like fish
The train only warehouse would be perfect for the plastic warehouse because of the long distance it has to travel.
I think it should be called ‘Sharon’s fishy fish’
10:24 that is far too small to be a seafood factory, I used to work at one. Trident Seafoods Anacortes, Wa
I believe that if you lower the ocean bottom it may change the type of fish available. And let's try, " Sharon's Fishy Fingers."
Great build Thanks enjoyed it
So glad i found you and love all the video's keep em coming for sure 👍
Isn’t that a bit sharp of a right hand turn to get back onto the highway from the fish district?!
I agree. If the one ways were reversed it would be a better turn.
Tbh, that one way system isn’t really required
"Fishy Business" for the name of the district
Has to be called Sharon's Fishy Bits
Now that's a spicy fish.
Why not a cargo train stop by the fishing area? It could serve the twin factories too
Nicely done OC. How about just Sharon's Fisheries? 😎👍
Waste Transfer facility?
I would like to see pedestrian bridges with a T shape at each end of the bridge to have a more complete shape.
My aunt name sounds like fish in Cantonese(What my family speaks)
Maybe the marina could be called Sharina?! (Combo of Sharon and Marina)
Awesome as always egg
You should name it fishy fish industries!
Fish & Furious Marina 😂
Will you post any Project Zomboid videos? I’ve been binging other channels since I discovered the game from you. I’d loved to hear you freaking out during a play through. 😂
Name suggestion: Shelfish Sharron Industries
I wonder what on the dead end road from the Highway interchange? Military base area or prison? Humm
Yess another egg vid
Very creative
Dope build bro! How do you feel about the name Sharon’s Fishy Gash? 🤣
Possible name... Sharina Marina... following from the standard Carina Marina but using Sharon to add the link 😅💁♂️😉
Nuclear salmon!
I am hungry.
Hey. Are you going to do Starfield videos?
more good stuff. Ty. 👍👍
I like the name Sharon's Marina that you said, how about combining the words? Sharina? Sharona? :D
the industrial one-way roads serve no special purpose. just a two-way road would work better imo
what are the trees you're using in your forest brush? I've tried replicating it but just end up with a silly looking brush :/
I asked the same question on the live stream 4 weeks ago (cycling interchanges & ocean front parks),
Egg showed his tree brush 1 hour and 19 seconds in. Hope it helps.
@@yukon866 thank you so much
you can name the the marina Fishipino de Marina
sharon's fishy business (get it its a pun)
The Sharon Stone Fishery. Sharon Stone/Stonefish…
Sharon’s fishy cove
😂😂 eggs and legs lmao
Howdie OE from Allenstown, NH. Northeast, USA
Foxy lady's in Providence Rhode Island have a daily special in the am. Called Legs And Eggs
Sugestion: Sharon's Fishy Private's Inc.
"Sharon's unincorporated salmon" because is sus as f
8:12 I DM'ed you TWO MONTHS ago to tell you the bridges across the canal were too low 😆
I'm not sure how to feel about you writing the name of a strip club using...all of the bush 🤔
