Canonically speaking, there was a brief time when Zelda both had her sealing powers and hadn’t sealed Ganon as she visited the Deku tree to leave the master sword there before dealing with Ganon
So... maybe we get to seal Ganon as the final boss?? Not my idea though, another person in the comments suggested that and I think it would be awesome!
I assumed her sealing power came from the Triforce and that the Shikah Slate powers are given to those who can posses the slate that was passed down the Royal family.
Cool thought: in Hyrule Warriors (I've never played any other Warriors game), a lot of characters had multiple weapons to choose from. Maybe one of Zelda's weapons is the Sheikah Slate, and her sealing powers are a weapon that unlocks on that last level.

I've had an idea bubbling away of a 4 Swords style game featuring the 4 champions. I doubt Nintendo would do a Zelda game without Zelda or Link but I think it would be a cool concept.
Ehhh, not really. I mean, it definitely depends on how you define “games with the same Link” and whether or not handhelds count. Link’s Awakening is a direct sequel, with the same Link, though I’m sure that isn’t going to count because it’s a remake... A Link Between Worlds might/might not count. It’s a direct sequel to ALttP and LA, but Link isn’t the same from those. However, the StreetPass guy is *heavily* implied to be the Link from those previous games. That was what, 2-3 Zeldas ago, and on a current gen handheld? Prior to that you have Phantom Hourglass, a direct sequel to WW. Spirit Tracks (a direct sequel but 100 years removed), and Skyward Sword are the only games in between it and ALBW. So again, only 2 releases prior to another direct sequel. There’s a LOT more sequels and same-Link’s than people seem to realize. But again, ymmv on this one cause it depends on how you quantify it lol
@@wokeupinapanic I'm going to disagree that the Streetpass guy is LttP Link, but I suppose that only Nintendo knows. Regardless that doesnt mean that LBW doesn't count, because unfortunately Triforce Heroes exists and that was a direct sequel to LBW. However this Is the very first time that we get the same Link *3* times in a row which is very cool
@@paya5616 I'm really afraid about that. What can come after BOTW (as in after the sequel)? More open world? New ways to implement the old dungeons in this new style? How big its scope can be until it stops growing? What if the next game is not as good? I think most of the 3D zeldas are so great because they are truly something more than the last game. Sure, there is a lot where Botw could improve, but with expectations so high, will we get to a point where zelda gets stale?

@@uppernimbus Wrong, you're just not seeing the bigger picture. Nintendo knows what they're doing with the Mario universe, and once the overarching storyline comes together, it will make perfect sense that we can't have any new characters.

The Sheikah slate had been "damaged" 100 years ago, leading to runes needing to be reinstalled. It's why the camera rune was there in the DLC flashback, but not at the beginning of the game.
Even before the DLC it was established that the camera worked before, since the memories were based on pictures Zelda made in the past. I think it was even mentioned that something got damaged when you visit Hateno
It's so rare that I can say "this is something I never knew I wanted." But yeah, that's the case here. It makes perfect sense. The story of the Calamity is such an interesting Zelda story. But one that fits so perfectly for this style of game. This is a big war. And also it's a story that takes place over a decent period of time. I was always ok with the Calamity just being that event that we pieced together through the various in-game hints and those memories. But this time we can experience this event. We can see Link's rise to becoming a champion of hyrule and then the tragedy that followed. We're getting Crisis Core: Breath of the Wild, and I'm loving it.

It says on the website that there are dozens of gripping cutscenes. DOZENS. Also, it's co-op!!! This may have been what Nintendo was talking about when they said they wanted to build a multiplayer game in the BoTW engine.
What I want more than anything is this game to have the ultimate downer ending. Something that just sticks with you for days on end. A full cutscene, a montage maybe, jumping between each of the four champions doing their best against the blight demons infecting their divine beasts (using only the items you had available in the Champions Ballad battles) as Zelda races to Hyrule Castle. They inevitably fall and we see a full scene of Zelda's confrontation with Calamity Ganon where she seals both him and herself away, stopping the destruction from getting worse. Credits roll over footage of Link being placed into the Shrine of Resurrection by the Sheikah Warriors and Purah, with the final shot of the game tracking out as Purah seals the shrine until Link wakes up, fading to black on the closed door with the Sheikah symbol.
@@littenfire3563 it doesn't make sense story wise then. The runes were never discovered pre calamity so how does Zelda and Link use runes? How do the champions fight corrupted guardians if they died once the divine beasts were taken? The story between them has many holes that would be very hard to fix.
But Nintendo always strives for originality and creativity. Mario is the IP that they use to do all those weird spin off games. What would be the fun for them to do the same thing again with another one of their franchises? It could be very cool, don’t get me wrong, but for Nintendo to do something like this, they would need for it to be vastly different and new. So who knows? I'm just thinking back to that one cutscene in botw where link is just standing amidst a field of dead lynels and moblins he fought singlehandedly. That has to be a battle in this game.
I want this game to be the Halo: Reach of the Zelda series - A campaign that's doomed from the start but a story absolutely worth telling all the same.
The Warriors games are the perfect way to do the war against the calamity. Really hoping the story focus is there because it would make this the best secondary Zelda entry ever
I mean, I’m pretty sure we’re going to play in all areas of the map, but probably not in a connected way. However, we’ve already seen that the war was going on all across Hyrule, so we are at least going to see every area again, even if not in a fully exploitable manner. But hey, that’s what BotW and BotW are for, right?? ;)
@@artemiswetzler4902 You're right, I also don't expect it. But also keep in mind that Persona 5 Scramble wasn't quite the same as an average Warriors spin off, it was very much a Persona Game that had Warriors gameplay. This game *might* surprise us
While I don’t think they’ll include all of Hyrule (although I suppose they could modify the BotW map, it would take a lot of work and wouldn’t make sense here), I’m sure they’ll at least feature areas that were different before the Calamity, especially Hyrule Castle. Seems like we’ll also see towns, like Zora's Domain and Gerudo Town. And we’ll likely see characters like Impa, Purah, and Sidon 100 years ago.
Weston Meyer Because I’d rather Fire Emblem Warriors 2 be more of a bigger crossover for the entire series other than just a Three Houses story expansion.
Weston Meyer That’s still just a Warriors game that focuses on just Three Houses. Which is the opposite of what I want for a FEW2. I want more games being included in FEW, like Sacred Stones or the Elibe games. I’m totally aware that KT made the assets for Three Houses, and I’d like for Three Houses characters to be in FEW2. But I don’t want Fire Emblem Warriors 2 to just focus on Three Houses.
Weston Meyer there’s a difference between having a lot of characters from a single game and having that single game be the focus. I don’t care if each house had 3 or 4 characters in so long as other games get represented. Plus, if we’re talking a hypothetical Three Houses exclusive Warriors game; wouldn’t it make more sense for it to take place during the 5 year gap where Byleth is unconscious. Because if it was a prequel there’d be little to actually make a story around. Just a game focusing on Sothis, Serios, Cethlenn, Cithol, etc, fight Nemesis. I guess that’d be a cool idea in theory but they really don’t need to do it since they show that war and how it ended pretty extensively.
Sticking with that "zelda-flavored" comment you made, I think a good way to put it would be the first Hyrule Warriors was a zelda-flavored warriors game, Age of Calamity seems like it's gonna be a warriors-flavored zelda game
It's like instead of a huge 30-minute Nintendo Direct, we have had a month of mini directs, with all of the partner showcases, Mario, Pikmin 3 Deluxe, and now Zelda.
What I really think is what's going on is: they're able to make the games and make mini partner showcases(cakes) but don't have enough Bakers(editors) to create a entire direct, so they give us the ingredients (pieces) for a direct instead.
I'm a little salty we never got Ryu Hayabusa in Smash, even though he was a popular rumor. Of course, it can still happen, but considering his connection to the NES, I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet.
Pull a xenoblade 2 and every time you beat a boss or level, it starts a cutscene where you lose. (I loved xenoblade 2, but I always found that kinda silly the first time through)
It's not that common, but it certainly has been done. Crisis Core was a perfect example of it. The ending is what it is and you know that going in. But part of the greatness is the emotional journey that makes you really feel the cost in the ending. Suppose could also look at XCOM 2 where that story is a sequel to any point where you got a game over in the previous game.
I’m wondering if the game will end right before the champions die, like the memory where the champions come together after Zelda goes to the fountain of wisdom, and then Ganon shows up? That might be the way they end it, unless they decide to show the champion’s deaths.
I am EXTREMELY excited! I sadly haven't played any Zelda game besides Hyrule Warriors on the 3DS as I've never owned a console, I never got the few 3DS ones because I didn't know if I would like them and I had to pick and choose what game to buy carefully, I'd choose games I knew I could play endlessly or with friends. I do eventually want to pick up Breath of Wild since I have a Switch Lite, but like with the 3DS I still need to pick and choose what games to get.
Because the only thing that would change is the battle system. The overworld and dungeon exploration wouldn't be different enough to justify it. In fact, it'd probably be annoying to have a dedicated fight for minor encounters like keese
Me earlier; "I wonder what their holiday title is gonna be, nothing fits the bill yet" (Sees the release trailer) Ah, Hyrule Warriors the BotW prequel, yup, that's the one. So "I wonder how many characters will be in it" they mentioned in the trailer a "Wide array of characters" and compared to their usual clout, 7 ain't wide enough. I expect at LEAST 12. I could see Impa, as a younger woman, or perhaps Purah as a young, er... older? woman, finding a way to do battle with the camera function (Not the first time cameras have been used as a weapon in games and I love it when they are.) Perhaps even King Rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule could be playable, I'm sure he'd have a huge sword and magic being in the royal family. Or perhaps King Dorephon, he WAS quite a fighter back in the day (Zora tablets). So many options! "I'm pretty sure Link unlocked those functions (of the Shiekah Slate)" Yes, after they were locked away for safe-keeping. Purah mentions she already has experience with all of the functions Link has by the time he meets her (again), with the implication that Zelda had those functions unlocked when it was in her care. "Are they gonna show us the Champions dying?" (Eureka moment) Wait, a lot of Warriors crossovers have a "Villains" section where you play as the bad guys... what if that's four of the slots of playable characters right there? Wind, Water, Thunder, and Fireblight Ganon? Urbosa explained in the fight against Thunderblight that it was what "Caught her off-guard" and killed her (spoilers I guess) So it would be amazing to play as the blights as they siege each Divine Beast and Slay each Champion. (Also, I so hope that we get multiple weapons in this game again, I want Link fighting using EXCLUSIVELY the Master Cycle Zero, yes it's not been completed yet, but it can be a non-canon weapon, they did that in Hyrule Warriors) "What do you think?" ... In case it isn't obvious, I loved every minute of 100%ing Hyrule Warriors... ... Except those last two or three adventures I had to do,those were hell, the rest was heaven.
Hyrule Warriors got away with non-canon weapons because of time travel, dimension hopping, and just being non-canon and whimsical in general. They even had a whole history adventure mode where you “play” the different games via world maps covered in missions tiles, and where you’d unlock most of these non-canon weapons, skins, and even characters (since some characters that became playable didn’t actually impact the main story). However, Age of Calamity is setting itself apart by strictly being canon and following an somewhat established past. We might get some fan service, but it’s best to only assume things that existed before BotW starts just until we get more released information. :)
I think at this point it may be safe to say that most of what we've seen lately was slated for what would've been the E3 Direct. But with the pandemic they could no longer be certain of the dates for when all their stuff was gonna go down. So instead they cut it all up and gave us shadow-drops when they did finally have set dates and could confirm all their projects. I'm still hopeful for a Direct toward the end of the year to focus on future titles and works in development but idk if that's very likely. They may just switch to the shadow-drop format or keep it close to vest while things are uncertain
Yes. I'm absolutely certain Nintendo didn't want to give out dates they have little confidence in, and instead have been trying to trickle things in as they become more and more certain themselves.
As someone who ranks story and characters as the most important thing in video games (for me at least) I really liked BOTWs story. It kept me going and made me feel a lot of emotions. Definitely going to get this game, just to get more of that sweet story
I wonder if they'll make this a whole sub series for the Zelda franchise making titles around the war against demise the era of Chaos the imprisoning war the Hylian Civil War in the interloper invasion, to name a few
This is another XC2: Torna ~The Golden Country~ situation... You know the lore, you know what happens, the one thing that sneaks up on you is how much you cry when the end comes.
The story they told that happened 100 years before BOTW would be nigh impossible to make a game for in traditional Zelda style. 3D LoZ is more skirmish battling or dueling for that matter. The mechanics simply dont condone mass scale battle. It makes total sense for it to be a Hyrule Warriors game. edit: holy crap what if its legit the BOTW map being active at once, and you have to strategically figure out when/where to strike without exposing yourself to the enemy? Might be a bit too much for the switch to calculate all that since even empty-world botw map chugs the game hardcore. But that would be epic! This does lead to the idea that they are attempting to utilize this zelda story as a more broad storyarch. I already had a hunch about that with BOTW2, since they have never done a direct sequel before (Phantom Hourglass/Majora's Mask are not a direct sequel. They are the same Link, but different world entirely. BOTW2 is the same world, we know that from the description in the trailer). But now theres 3 games in that same story arc? Yeah, i suspect even more will come unless the story bombs so hard peopel hate it. On that note, i am a bit worried. We know it has to end with Hyrule being conquered and Link being sealed away to heal....if they dont handle it right that can sour a lot of moods because that can be considered an "unwinnable situation for an ending" and gamers have been VERY vocal about such situations being lame/negative.
True but if if the story is pulled off akin to Halo Reach for example, it could end up being a hit. We knew the ending of Reach yet still enjoyed the ride. Hell, Id love at the end a level similar to Reach's where we as Link take out as many Guardians as possible before our health runs out.
@@roguesquadron521 That is literally the only and i mean ONLY time that me personally enjoyed the "You lose anyway" scenario. You didnt just die. You died fighting and took out a ton of baddies in the process
Nah, dude. It's gonna be like Revenge Of The Sith and Halo Reach, we all know it will end in the worst possible way, but the ride will be great and the story will be expanded. Also, they can hint at story elements that will happen in BOTW2.
What if they did something like the first Hyrule Warriors where you play the enemy's side and feel horrible while killing all these characters you grew attached to? Damn that sentence was morbid
Criticorn Not likely, as there are no real villainous characters to have that perspective from. Unless they have the Champion battles from the Ganon blight’s perspectives.
I’m ok with giving Zelda a neat move set with the sheika slate as long as they don’t bring it into the cutscenes since cutscenes are more canon than gameplay
Ganon: The time has come Commander. Execute Order 66. Also, remember that Zelda did things after Link fell in BOTW and she found her powers. She got Link to the Shrine of Resurrection and personally took the Master Sword to Kokiri Forest. The final mission of the game will probably end with Zelda using her magic to seal Ganon into the castle.
Even though I’m not a fan of the dynasty warriors type games, I think it was a smart decision to use that gameplay style for the story of Calamity Ganon waging war on Hyrule.
Hopefully, we can solo Zelda to get the Master Sword to the Great Deku Tree before facing down Ganon. That's the missing chapter I'm looking forward to.
Wow I can't believe so many people were so hyped up to lose everything. I mean wasn't the rest of 2020 hopeless enough? At least we did get a taste of that kind of madness in the capital riots right?
@@castonyoung7514 I legitimately don't remember making this comment I am wondering if maybe I was so tired that I couldn't think straight while writing it
Oh yeah, I forgot that he knew about the runes. I imagine that may be explained in this game too if they're gonna give Zelda and link Sheikah Slate runes. There's got to be explanation, because one of the cutscenes in Breath of the Wild had Zelda frustrated that she couldn't open up a shrine with her Sheikah slate
They should make a final mission versus Ganon that can go on as long as you can survive, but you lose in the end no matter what. And there could be a challenge to last a certain amount of time.
I think that should be Link's final mission. But I'm pretty confident the Final Boss Battle will be Zelda Vs. Calamity Ganon, and Zelda "wins" that battle... Even if the result of that victory is Gabon being sealed.

One important thing to consider regarding story, in addition to the Warriors games, the same Koei-Tecmo studio played a major part in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and pushed for fully voice acted story in that game.
...but shadows of valentia already fully voiced and tecmo had nothing to do with it. I am fairly certain those guys only handled part of the development, not the story. Koei is alright, but they aren't exactly story tellers at heart.

Interesting part will be the villains story also. We willing be play game where the end goal is the bad guys win. I've noticed most warrior games have you fight from both sides of the fence. We're going into this game where the we are suppose to ensure the heros lose. So getting play as the forces of the calimity will be fun. I'm betting we have to play as the Phantom Gannons where we have to gain control of the Divine beast. Where we haven't to defeat the Champions and armies of their race to steal the Divine beast. Also there are Yiga clan characters we can play as. I'm betting we get play as calamity forced, Yiga clan, Shekia clan, the different races, and Hyrulians. Can just imagine Yiga and Shekia storylines that can be told in this game.
I wonder if there will be new characters that represent the enemy, like Volga or Wizzro? Vaguely from the games, but wholly original. Calamity Ganon is just a force of primal darkness, not really organized, with respawning hordes. The Yiga Clan is definitely the front runner, but I wouldn't think it would be Kohga, nor would I really want it to be. No one else comes to mind. Ideas?

Haha this year I was able to predict some things from Nintendo and many ones ended being true in the most anticlimactic way as possible. These are the ones that turned to be true (I made them last year for 2020): - There will be something of Mario Kart and Splatoon (ended being the mario kart tournament, the AR game of Mario Kart and the recycled splatfests) - There will be a weird game developed by NDCube (ended being Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics ) - There will be something of Monolith Soft (ended being the remake of Xenoblade Chronicles(ok, this one didn't count because they announced it during the mid year, but I forgot it before doing the prediction :P)) - Pokemon Sword & Shield Expansion. - Pikmin 3 port - DLC of Fire Emblem (haha another one that was announced, but I missed the announcement) My way of doing the predictions is checking how much time the studios have spent without releasing anything, and how often the studios usually release games.
is an interesting idea, Representing the "massive region calamity war" would be hard to do in an RPG like BoTW, but in a Warriors thing, surely fit perfectly, also, a way to show the Heroes Skills and strength, and show why they were deferated being champions of their people...

Oh yeah, a full direct with all of the past month's announcements would have lit the internet up like a wildfire. But I have a feeling that the actual direct would have been in a different order from what we've been given. Like, I think they would have started with the announcement for Age of Calamity, it's big news but it lets us get the disappointing announcement that BotW2 is taking a bit longer to sink in as the Direct goes on. Then they'd give us the Pikmin 3 Deluxe information after, tossed out a highlight reel of Indies, then used the Mario 35th Anniversary to close out the Direct, preferably all hosted by Doug Bowser purely for the well-established pun...actually, having a subs translated actual bowser do the announcement would have been hilarious.

Makes me wonder what they’re gonna do after
I've had an idea bubbling away of a 4 Swords style game featuring the 4 champions.

What I want more than anything is this game to have the ultimate downer ending. Something that just sticks with you for days on end.

Weston Meyer I say this as a huge fan of Three Houses and spending over 300+ hours on Fire Emblem Warriors: please no.

"Dread it, run from it, destiny arrives all the same"
- Ganon, probably
(Also, I so hope that we get multiple weapons in this game again, I want Link fighting using EXCLUSIVELY the Master Cycle Zero, yes it's not been completed yet, but it can be a non-canon weapon, they did that in Hyrule Warriors)
"What do you think?" ... In case it isn't obvious, I loved every minute of 100%ing Hyrule Warriors... ... Except those last two or three adventures I had to do,those were hell, the rest was heaven.
Well, there is a possibility you can play the bad guys in the game, and King Rhoam is one of the story's main villains, so...

I doubt it, been a long time since the last release of hurdle warriors

Criticorn
Not likely, as there are no real villainous characters to have that perspective from. Unless they have the Champion battles from the Ganon blight’s perspectives.
Never played a Warriors game, Breath of The Wild finally got me into the series and i'm excited to try it out!
I really enjoyed the first 2, I never thought we would get another and I’m excited
The first two were the same game. The switch and 3ds version was an expansion of the same game
The coolest part of this story is that at the end of the game 'winning' will be making it to the shrine of resurrection and losing.
@@castonyoung7514 I legitimately don't remember making this comment I am wondering if maybe I was so tired that I couldn't think straight while writing it
"it's not the full experience, it isn't gonna have the dungeons and puzzles and such"
Neither did BotW in regards to dungeons tbh
Remember, Link or someone must of discovered the runes 100 years before BOTW, because the King new about them when link woke up.
Oh yeah, I forgot that he knew about the runes. I imagine that may be explained in this game too if they're gonna give Zelda and link Sheikah Slate runes. There's got to be explanation, because one of the cutscenes in Breath of the Wild had Zelda frustrated that she couldn't open up a shrine with her Sheikah slate
zelda used stasis on this trailer
Not really, he had 100 years to find out about the runes, also, perhaps as a ghost he gained more wisdom or something like that.

They should make a final mission versus Ganon that can go on as long as you can survive, but you lose in the end no matter what. And there could be a challenge to last a certain amount of time.
objective: survive
I think that should be Link's final mission.
But I'm pretty confident the Final Boss Battle will be Zelda Vs. Calamity Ganon, and Zelda "wins" that battle... Even if the result of that victory is Gabon being sealed.
I love that idea!! Reminds me of older arcade games that you'd just play to see who got the best time/score but you'd never actually beat the game and people were fine with that!

Honestly, I'm excited. I always yearned for more story from BOTW and I always thought they could do *so* much more. I think this was a smart solution because they are satisfying me and cleaning out my wallet at the same time.
Also, I get to play as mommy Urbosa
Weston Meyer yesss! Also more backstory on Byleth’s bloodline!
Yes
One important thing to consider regarding story, in addition to the Warriors games, the same Koei-Tecmo studio played a major part in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and pushed for fully voice acted story in that game.
...but shadows of valentia already fully voiced and tecmo had nothing to do with it.
I am fairly certain those guys only handled part of the development, not the story. Koei is alright, but they aren't exactly story tellers at heart.
@@jackgarcia5926 "The game's scenario was written by Koei Tecmo's Yuki Ikeno, Ryohei Hayashi and Mari Okamoto. as a long time fan of the Zelda series, this is super exciting because it seems like they are really committing to a continuity......FINALLY
Ideas?

''This isn't even a real Zelda game.'' but it's canon, so it is a real Zelda game.
The age old "different gameplay, same feel" debate that has plagued the likes of Kingdom Hearts spin-offs, Super Paper Mario and Ultra Despair Girls.
The fact that it's canon is proof that will cry at the end of the game. Maybe the last quest is to just survive until you die in the game
@Creepergamer That would be so awesome. Just shows Link waking up and it cuts to the title card and credits
I think he meant gameplay. It's not a real zelda game in that sense. It's a warriors game that tells a canonical Zelda story.
I guess it counts as a mainline game though
Nintendo continues to prove that I cannot predict a thing. I never thought they would do a prequel to BotW, never mind make it a HW game.
They often surprise me in the best ways!
Haha this year I was able to predict some things from Nintendo and many ones ended being true in the most anticlimactic way as possible. These are the ones that turned to be true (I made them last year for 2020):
- There will be something of Mario Kart and Splatoon (ended being the mario kart tournament, the AR game of Mario Kart and the recycled splatfests)
- There will be a weird game developed by NDCube (ended being Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics
)
- There will be something of Monolith Soft (ended being the remake of Xenoblade Chronicles(ok, this one didn't count because they announced it during the mid year, but I forgot it before doing the prediction :P))
- Pokemon Sword & Shield Expansion.
- Pikmin 3 port
- DLC of Fire Emblem (haha another one that was announced, but I missed the announcement)
My way of doing the predictions is checking how much time the studios have spent without releasing anything, and how often the studios usually release games.
@Michael LMAOOOOOO
And you did not knwo the ending. It will be a delightfull surprise.
After I finish this game, I'm going to replay breath of the wild. To get the fresh look on it.

Hyrule Warriors: Reach
is an interesting idea, Representing the "massive region calamity war" would be hard to do in an RPG like BoTW, but in a Warriors thing, surely fit perfectly, also, a way to show the Heroes Skills and strength, and show why they were deferated being champions of their people...
This announcement feels really fresh when everything is leaked or rumored well before the actual announcement. Day 1 purchase!
Hour 1 purchase
When you said Nintendo tries to release a new Zelda game every year I was skeptical - but lo & behold they've been at it since 2013. That's a comforting theory.
Out of all the Zelda titles I've ever enjoyed, Hyrule warriors is my fave Zelda title I've ever played. Age of calamity looks like an amplified version of my fave game. Will probably be my fave switch game to date.
I'll give it to you, half credit that is, you expected a sequel, it was a prequel good enough for me
Arlo Before BOTW 1 Zelda had the Sheikah slate with its abilities but they were scattered presumably so that the forces of evil wouldn't find them.
Arlo is the type of guy who'd call someone 'bozo', then apologize for losing his temper
A full direct with all that mario stuff, pikmin 3, and this would've been a really good one
Throw in a few indies and SMT
They probably planned it for E3 but it got cancelled
E3 plans confirmation?
"I dont wanna see Nintendo go full kingdom hearts" can wait for Legend of Zelda BoTW 0.3. Everybody dies distance
Breath of the wild is a trilogy now
Let that sit in.
Or at least it will be when age of calamity and botw2 are released.
No it's not. A hyrule warriors game is nowhere near the quality of a mainline Zelda game, no matter how many story cutscenes they put in.
Hol up a minute your right! A fully fleshed out trilogy!
