I miss welding, this is the only test i never get, i was practicing and im pretty sure i will pass just like, all the other, all the way to 4g, ur videos helped me pass all my certifications, thanks master for dhearing ur knoldge, for all those who still on school dont waste time bur rods so u dont regret it.
Dear sir: excuse my bad english i am from argentina and i only speak spanish but i want to say you thank you very much...i cannot understand all what you say but the videos are very clear and help me a lot. Thank you again
I ain’t got much time to be in the shop at the moment because I have to prepare for my pipe fitter test so watching your videos definitely helps to as always learn a lot of new things and also bridge the time until I can get back to welding. Keep up the good work sir!
well jody i finally got my forever welder now. i had recently purchased a cheeper unit and was really digging it. Aguy i had bought a table from a few months back had reached out to me about selling his machine. it is a miller syncrowave 210 it only had 2hr and 12mins on the timer. i could not pass it up. i absolutely love it
Drinking my coffee preparing to go weld an 8’ section on 4” pipe onto the end of my flag pole and this pops up. Solid tips Jody, I’ll try to apply them here in a bit!
Great teaching, very clear and easy to follow, i've bee welding for morre than 30 years, but never learn the profetional one, with your tutorial, i will start all over again, never late to learn! God bless you.
Jody, that was an awesome video! I really enjoy when you do mig videos because thats the kind of welding I do right now. Thank you for taking the time to make a great video about mig welding.
I know this might seem like an easy job because you make it look that way but it is NOT. PLEASE! Keep these awesome videos coming for all us people this stuff is magic! Awesome videos!
He really flexed by showing us his perfect results at the end ! I’m 19 and taking welding course. Currently intermediate stick rn but later will be taking flux, tig and mig. I want my welds to look like this! Any advice??
a timely video for me, I'm currently welding out a heap of fabricated lobsterback 36 inch diameter schedule 10 elbows for a water pipeline with MIG, but we're welding the root from the inside downhill, back grinding and then running the fill and cap uphill on the outside of the pipe, a few of the guys are running a standard CV MIG in short circuit, one of the guy's is running a Lincoln STT, and I'm running a Fronius TPS2700 on pulse. I'd love to see a video with you running pulse MIG out of position, I tried the three setups, and found I was able to run fairly hot and fast uphill with the Fronius on pulse, 480 IPM and 25 volts for the downhill root from the inside of the pipe, 440 IPM and 24 volts from 6-9 o'clock, and 600 IPM and 27 volts from 9-12 o'clock doing the fill and cap in one pass, I'm finding if a do a back and forward whip coming up from 6-9, coming forward and then back it fill in and wet it out, and from 9-12 just push it uphill a bit as if its running a flat bead it come out with a very nice profile and looks like it was welded flat.
Realmente es una excelente muestra de como realizar una buena prueba en tubería Saludos desde Colombia 🇨🇴 mi amigo sigo tu canal aunque no hablo ingles, pero tú contenido es muy instructivo.
Recently purchased an Everlast MTS 275, I purchased your Furick alley #5 aluminum kit. Looking forward to using that for some jobs at home. Love your channel, love your store 💪🏼
Muy buena tecnica y excelente acabado compañero,mi pregunta es porque se detuvo en plena subida eso esta permitido en las normas de tuberia api y asme?
Congratulations for your good work and all the tips and the help that you give...i would like to ask a favour...can you explain the diagram on the door of the welders...i cant understand it..i work the most times with e7018....but when its time to weld with mig it takes me a lot of time to set up...i would prefer to know approximately the settings so i can set up again the welder for my preferences.
Interesting, on my place we just blast a root in with positioner 1.5 mm landing 3 tacs 120 degrees to hold it then do a Christmas tree kinda pattern for cap basically move across right to left move up to the middle of you root small triangle move back to the right make sure you hold on the edge as not to undercut then go across to the left half thickness over your first bead as it rolls.
QUESTION, I was watching a video of yours is there a way to make a pedal to cut power but not loose argon coverage at end of weld. In my head I'm thinking ING yes simple, guess I want someone else to try first...

Hello sir! I watched all your videos . I really appreciate what you are doing for us. This ESAB welder is very nice and i was wandering how this is comparing with FORNIUS TRANSTEEL 2200. Did you had the chance to use that machine? I heard only good things about is . I wish you all the best!!
Good evening. Hello from Russia! Thank you for your video. Your welding channel is one of the best on youtube. Tell me about the setting, amps are of interest and not the feed rate.
Where can I find the pad you are wearing on your glove? I’ve looked on the website and can’t find. Thanks for all the advice! I’ve learned a lot! It’s really helped me become a much better welder.
Jody, You have awesome videos. I have learned so much from you. Keep up the great work. There is one thing I have not hit right on the nail and that is the black soot when the arc starts when using my miller 210 welder. I don't see any soot or black gas marks on your videos. Any advice?
A quick question, please. I went through your MIG welding series and have tried many of the techniques and practice items. My question concerns welding thin wall 4130 chrome-moly tubing, such as that used in homebuilt aircraft fuselages and empennage structures. Historically these were gas welded (oxyacetylene) or TIG. The tubing wall thicknesses are (generally 0.028/0.035/0.049/0.058.. I'd like to MIG weld the structures if possible (some manufactures use a MIG process). Using your charts it appears for the 0.035 wall thickness the settings would be 35 amps and 70 ips... does that sound about right? Any recommendations or comments? Thanks!
Hey Jody. Great vid as always. Could you also do a mig vid in the 6g position with 6" sch80 pipe, mild/mild or better mild/stainless. I was asked to do a procedure qualifcation test for my company but i'm struggling on this one. It's always bulky and just doesn't look good. Greetings from Germany
Please don't ever stop making videos. They are all such high quality. We all appreciate what you do!
You have the best, most clear and vivid arc video I have seen! Thank you for all you teach us!

Bravo Maestro super👍
Brill work always fancied a welder but still unsure whether tig or mig is best option tig sounds complicated with the air etc and other components
Exelente gracias saludos
Te sigo hace años y he aprendido contigo, saludos

I like how it's so to the point. Here's the problem... here's the solution
Thank you sir God bless you
Exelen wuelders My friend greath Man
Hello, a question, when should we NOT be on the "leading edge of the puddle" when MIG welding
I love love love your videos.
Helio jody exellent video! I would like if could make a video mig Al pull_push system. Thanks 👌👍
I feel like you could have run the root hotter but to each their own hell yeah brother
Jody why isn't pulse mig used in pipe welding?
Damn! Second!
Thanks again Jodi, your vids are keeping me ISO sane.
Were you using the heavier duty tips and nozzle for this test? Just looked a little bigger than the standard nozzle that comes with ESAB 205
I want to know how adjust vol with wire speed please
Jody’s shirts look like my shirts, burnt and torn
