Weird person here (5 vds , 4 cds main) to share my equally weird opinions on dousers. With douser’s high range in both normal and turret mode (fyi, turret mode range matches dualie squelchers!), I think it has a very defensive playstyle. I like to play vds not as someone that peels off from the front, but someone who can hold an area for a good while with splatbomb and wave. I uhh, also use ink-saver sub… I really like the lethal bomb. Douser can definitely fit this playstyle with how effective it is at kiting opponents. The thought process for ink management is basically the same as cds, albeit much ink hungrier. A big part of all 3 though is activating the special. Douser can’t take full advantage of the ink tank refill like vds can with just mines, but it *can* use it after a dodge roll to cancel into a second roll. Overall, Douser has lots of good tech but I wish it was more open in its options. I’d like to see a kit like vanilla jr’s, or anything to quickly roll twice with. I doubt it’ll get a lot of chances to throw out heavy bombs but it’ll be fun so 🤷♀️
Ummm Dousers have better accuracy and also bigger bullet size so when you said DS has better accuracy and is more consistent, that's striaght up untrue. Also you can cancel the roll with Wail.

Saying Dualie Squelchers are better than Dousers makes Dousers sound bad but in reality it's just that both are really good and really underrated

Dousers are not mid I swear 😭 people just don’t understand it’s not a regular dualie it’s like a hybrid between backline and aggressive play style
Ever since koro told me standing in wave is an option, i see it have more potential than chumps qnd maybe even wail😂

Ive recently started using custom douser and i find it better than its primary kit, i really enjoy using this weapon 🐈

Dualie squelchers have schmovement. Dousers have better range, better ink efficiency, and a better overall kit. I still choose dualie squelchers lol.
