@@garyv83 I am actually working on 2 videos rn. One is a review of mgs1 and the other is a music video...... Unfortunately it's not the Dreamcast but it is the genesis so that's close at least lol. I do love the Dreamcast though.
Side note and not that you care lol but I mainly do more review style videos. The music ones kind of hurt the channel becauseof the stupid way TH-cam works. That being said I'm still gonna do them occasionally because they are still game related and who doesn't live music. Thanks for watching

Had chrono cross original ntsc but I live in the UK so had to do the quick 'swap' sometimes it would load and I wouldn't get the colour.
I was always disappointed this never came out in the UK. Final fantasy was one of my all time favorite game series but chrono trigger, cross and legend of dragoon were definitely up in my top 5 rpgs of all time.

Also, they didn't require an uninterrupted internet connection in order to be played even if it's completely unnecessary.
We also had GOOD single player games all the time, instead of everything being multiplayer just because (which defeats the whole purpose of being a shy person who finds a safe place in videogames).
Games were made with love, because no one realized the gold mine videogames industry is.

Absolutely. Gaming had finally hit its stride and settled fully into 3d. Nintendo 64, Playstation and PC were all regurlarly churning out genre defining masterpieces across the board. Quite frankly if you limited yourself to one platform in some pathetic "platform war" you were missing out. You either found a way to own all three or made damn sure you knew someone who owned the ones you didnt.

I guess it has to do with the nostalgia and the feelings from the game's story, but it simply sounds so sad and nostalgic ! Totally agree ! Never had such level of immersion in any other kind of narrative medium ! FF7 felt as if we all lived in this fantastic universe during the several days it took to complete the game (some other classic JRPGs were close, but none at this level).
