To remote start- press key lock twice. Press engine button twice, holding on the 2nd press for a few seconds-the engine will start.
Found out after returning the vehicle to Enterprise. My mom’s Mia is the same way. So stupid lol. I don’t see a reason to need to hit the lock button before starting when the vehicle is already locked 😂
I agree with you about the location of the ignition start button. My 2009 Altima has the start button on the dash next to the strearingwheel.
That makes a lot more sense lol
You did a great job reviewing this car. The gap on the side of the hood i was thinking mine was in an accident before I brought it and this was a replacement hood.
Haha yeah it does seem a bit awkward. Not a bad car overall though it treated me well!
Sir, you have to press the lock button then the engine button to start the car from the outside. I suggest reading the manual.
It’s a rental, as stated in the video. No manual. Kia’s are the same way. How stupid 😂
im driving an altima rental and i really agree with you about ignition button and the shifter getting into drive being weird
It’s a bit of a nitpick but I feel like it could have easily been designed better considering both items get used literally every time you drive 😂
@@TonyTheTruckGuy I think maybe they intended people to reach over the shifter to hit the ignition button. Like put you palm over the shift knob and bend your finger downward to press on the ignition button? Idk just came to me after driving to work
@@saladsalad9991 Only thing that seems to make sense. I feel like small hands people would have an issue with that though maybe haha
Nice video. Still undecided between this or an Accord.
No experience with the Accord so I can’t really weigh in but I think they would both make a decent choice!
Get the Accord man. Back in 2022 I was going to get either a new Altima or an Accord. I went with the Altima because it was awd. Now at 70k I’m going to have a new transmission put in this thing which is gonna cost me $8k
@@danielhamby9448 To be fair, I think all CVT are junk, and both cars use CVT. He could be in the very same boat with the Accord sadly lol.
Is their any cvt problems
Can’t say, it was only a rental that I had for about a month. I’m not a fan of CVT in general, but this particular car didn’t seem to have any issues with it during my time of driving it.
Press lock and then hold the start button for 3 seconds on the remote. It should start. Maybe?
