I have that Fiskars hookaroon. It’s the dumbest looking thing , but it’s strong as heck and it works great. It’s super light for its strength. It’s probably the best deal out there. It really saves your back and a lot of time. Thanks for the heads up on that other piece of junk.
Our pleasure. Wife made it very clear she wants two more of the fiskars. lol now I just wish they would make a longer one so she can pull wood down from the table onto the splitter.lol appreciate you taking the time to watch and to comment.
@@thefrugalhomestead7873 If my memory serves correctly, the do make longer ones. They just don’t sell them here. I think? If they don’t, we could start pestering Fiskars until they do. The lightness to strength factor is fantastic. I think a 36” handle would be a good addition. I bet , with a long one in one hand and short in the other, you could move a giant brush pile of thorny cockspur hawthorn without getting stuck once.
To be honest it never works well in the first place. I still have it but I would have to do an awful lot of work to attach it to a different handle as it is a center connect it does not have a ring
I would be interested to see that. Ours got run over by a log truck and didn't even touch it. The difference is you can return your fiskers for a replacement this one they won't even answer me off Amazon
Once you realize the warranty frisker tools are not expensive at all. More to come on this subject but unfortunately I can't seem to break one of their tools

You need a log rite. That’s what we use. Dang near indestructible
That's true they are. Might have to stay open-minded as that for Christmas gift. Good tools are never cheap
I could agree if this hadn't also happened to my Fiskars. Sigh...
