Long have I been building a theory on my own from my own expeirences, and I am relieved to find out that I was right. I started using a notebook that I always have with me that contains all my thoughts, concerns and, like you worded very well, my needle movers. Ever since I started using this 'second brain' I've been feeling more order and rest troughout my day. Combine this with a healthy schedule of sleep and rest and boom, I never felt better in a while. This because once you have a rythm and you have sorted your thoughts and concerns, theres space to think and grow! Very interesting and well explained Corey!

Thanks, Sam. Agreed on the power of a second brain and how it can open up new routes of inquiry and reflection. Glad this video resonated with you!

And now I have a word for the wildly irritating problem I spent almost an hour trying to describe to a friend yesterday. Perfect!

Much appreciated, man! Might do some more bite-sized psychology stuff like this in the future.

The needle mover list is such a good idea! I started creating a version of it but weekly. Basically, the 3 most high-leverage things I need to do in my business to move revenue forward. The other stuff: I delegate to my VA or table for another time.

Thanks, man! Yeah, the NML can be daily, weekly, or even a longer timeframe depending on your needs. I literally keep mine on a post-it note to keep it to 3 or less 😂

    Good video.
This is extremely important in this information overload world.
You might feel like youre missing out but the real problem is not lack of info but acting on what you already have.
Alchemy in your channel name, i press sub.
    Love and blessings!

the zeigarnik effect has run me over everyday for the past 3 months. All this time I thought it was my adhd + autsim combo, meaning I thought there was no way around it but "push on" after hearing your suggestion of the second brain , im gonna add that to my strategy book. Thanks for the insight.

This sounds like ADD. Man, if writing things down increases focus, and rolling forward only on the top three nagging intrusive thoughts works, I am for giving it a try.

Yeah, these strategies aren't a cure-all for everyone, for sure. But they're super helpful for most people and definitely something to experiment with. Hope they help!

Well he’s got the beard but the buzz cut on the top reduces his perceived efficacy in psychological endeavor. Maybe he should start a pipe. Glasses? I’m grasping at straws here.

Haha, I do have glasses, I just don't wear them in most of these videos. Maybe I should try out a turtleneck next time 😂
