Same here, the reason I can't put down my S24 ultra vs my Iphone 13pm its because of its over all functionality. It just scream convenience, navigating ang doing anything on it. Multi screen, keyboard, clipboard, the AI edit and file management.

I'm an Apple user since the iPhone 4s! But when I experienced the S22 Ultra, I never used an iPhone again. I feel free to do whatever I want on Android. Now I'm using the S24 Ultra and I couldn't be happier. 😊

One important part you left out, thermals and gpu performance especially when it comes to gaming. Sure, the iPhone loads the game faster, but gpu performance on the ultra is much much better for long gaming sessions.

Samsung has features you don't know you need but once you get to know them it's hard to pass it up. I was an iPhone user for a very long time and it got spoilt so i needed something to use. I took my bro's s22ultra since he was using his s23ultra. Features like the edge panel into split screen, message scheduling, back gesture and freedom to install any app when it's not in the apple store. I have the 24ultra now, and that ai feature where u can search up anything is too good. My ignorant self was always arguing iPhone is better but wow!!!! Until you use Samsung in depth you will never know. I just hope Damsung improve their video quality in snapchat. Buh for the other features i love it.

iPhone is a much better phone with a much better experience and waaay more refined OS than anything Android has or has had to offer. I don’t see this changing anytime soon.
As the poster above mentioned, Android/Samsung in particular, is fun in the beginning but the novelty quickly wears off. The user experience on Android isn’t terrible but it’s not even close to iPhone smoothness and iOS has a much better “fit and finish” than Android. Android always seems like it’s a work in progress while iPhone feels intentional and polished, even with its inherent bugs.
Samsung ecosystem is equal to Apple's.

I've seen a lot of TH-camrs get this wrong. The titanium on the S24 Ultra does not make it lighter. iPhone switched from stainless steel to titanium, which is a heavier metal to a lighter metal. But the Galaxy switched from aluminum to titanium, which is a lighter metal to a heavier metal.
Yep that's true, but also it got 2g lighter if i'm not mistaken.
@@caveira_1408 I've seen varying numbers. In at least one measurement I saw, it was 1 gram heavier. Regardless, if it is lighter it's not because they switched to titanium.

Titanium maintains strength despite being thinner. Overall, weight is still reduced when switching to titanium from aluminum.

The base iphone still comes with a 60hz refresh rate and lasts gens chip. The S24 comes with 120hz and the new gen chip. So vaule for money the s24 wins hands down. It sucks that iphone nerfs there phone so yall buy the bigger ones.

Yes, that's the best edge detection phone as shown in the video. The iPhone's edge detection is not quite as accurate as shown in the picture. Maybe she got confused and said iPhone.
7:19 Samsung's quick share is faster than airdrop. There are some tests online comparing the two, and as far as I've seen quickshare is faster and connectivity-wise is equally good with Widows laptops, Samsung's own tablets like iPhone is with its ecosystem. And like the action button on the iPhone, you can customize Samsung's double power button tap to do pretty much anything you want.
While the "action" button is a joke because you can only program it for 1 function

So I'd say not only Samsung, but Android in general is better, and it all comes down to the little things: still it blows people's mind when i wirelessly charge their iPhones (that are always below 30% for some reason) with my OnePlus via reverse wireless charging lol 😂

$726 out the door for the S24 Ultra with 512GB storage pre-order with a Note 20 Ultra trade-in. Samsung wins on value for me. I didn't get much when I traded an iPhone to upgrade to another iPhone. Before the 7 years of software support for Samsung, I would have said that spread over the six to seven years of use of an iPhone, the iPhone would have better value.

I probably would have mentioned MagSafe on the iPhone , this is a feature I use every single day.
I also have a galaxy note, but I don’t use the S pen every day.
Why do reviewer’s never mention MagSafe ?

Apple did the right thing by cancelling it, and instead, you can now use the USBC port to charge accessories with less than 5% waste.
One feature that you didn't mention in the utlra is the split screen which is so helpful, and one other thing with me having S23U still out performing my friend's 14PM, 15PM in camera LOL 😂

There are features on the iPhone that Apple had in place long before android phones.
The stylus is a gimmick. I had a galaxy note 3 a long time ago. I used the stylus for a few days, put it back in and never used it again.

@cgi2173 I must say that you never took the time to learn the functionality of the stylus. I started with the Note 3 and refuse to have a Samsung phone without it. I've shown a lot of people how to truly use their stylus, and they all have told me how much they appreciate using their stylus. The stylus is a game changer. And as stated by another's comment, Apple has never supplied a stylus with anything that they sell, it always an accessory that cost you money to get. People love using their stylus with their iPad, something we Note users have always enjoyed.

For me phones are such a big part of our social and family lives from how we communicate to pictures, and that’s why I always stick with the iPhone. If I wanna take pics to eventually print and put in a photo album, or make a family home video, FaceTime quality, etc you’re just not gonna get better than the iPhone.
Yeah being a tech and specs geek when it comes to the androids is cool, but my goodness does the actually quality of lively things that can bring life long memories such as those things brought down. I know it sounds ridiculous but that’s how impactful these phones are now.
Great video. I’d suggest a category for reliability or basic functions that work better. For example, Face ID is still years ahead of any fingerprint or face unlock out there, all apps work better and faster on the iPhone/ios, there’s no delays/freezes on the iPhone (like ever), iPhone will always outlast any android in longevity, battery life etc.

Just brought the iPhone 15 pro max last year and I’m currently on a payment plan through T-Mobile. But when I saw the Samsung s24 Ultra on tv, it was love at first sight! I’m going to trade my current phone in, thanks for the comparison and wish me luck!
Different strokes for different folks. I left Samsung after only ever using them since around 2009(ish) And got the 15 Pro Max in October just to see what iOS is all about and now that they have the USB-C port, it made it hard to pass up. All I can say is that I regret waiting so long to switch. it works for me flawlessly and the battery life on this phone is something I’ve never had with any android. I don’t think I will ever go back that’s me. I never used all of the extra stuff android had anyway.

Similar experience here. I bought the iPhone 15 PM after having Samsung and Xiaomi top phones but honestly, all those extra features aren’t worth much if you don’t use them.

Now I have invested quite a bit getting the watch series 9 and an iPad 10th gen. I’m 100% satisfied with my purchases, will be keeping them for a long time.

@@nicknemiroff1417 a lot of the iPhones features are not always seen or mentioned, MagSafe for example, the satellite emergency thing , and a bunch of other things too , even the accessories like the Apple Watch is clearly superior to Samsung’s, iOS eco system which is arguably better than Samsungs, clearly mate , the galaxy is not really a winner over the iPhone, it’s just different, and we didn’t even mention support with apple doing its updates , which not only are they on time but Apple manages to their device updates all over the world usually within 24 hours , where as Android and galaxy’s which are probably the best of Android devices at updates are still a patchy mess with updates that vary by device , by location and can be a frustration at times, and I have been an Android boy since 2012 .
No doubt the galaxy is a good phone, but just like the Apple devices it’s not good everywhere, it’s really a matter of choice which you prefer.
I think that some important “everyday categories” are missing in order to realize a more realistic comparison: overall app quality, camera integration inside social media, after sale assistance, speaker quality…….another thing, I have both phones and the battery life is much better on Pro Max
Yes like true caller app, like keyboard, like back button ,like multitasking and much more.

What are you on about, the battery isn't better on the iPhone. Every person that has tested their battery, ends up with a dead iPhone before the Samsung 😂 I have the s24 ultra and it lasts me the whole day, not to mention it charges faster as well

The S4 ultra has very sharp edges and so it is a pain in the ass to use it. however much I love that enormous screen of the 24 ultra, I love more the comfortability of the iphone. The only thing I see so special about the ultra is the AI and s.pen. the rest, iphone handles well (speed, cameras and value) - for me customisation is really not important, and one hour of different battery isn't that too much of an issue...but yeah, both phones are beasts.

@@jayefyve9212 apart from AI, these two definitely don't have a major differences when you look closely. and yeah, for comfort and value, for me the iPhone takes it. I use it mainly for camera fotos and vids.
but allow me to say something out of context. I have been to different countries and I can assure you that no matter the price of a Samsung (android in general), the iPhone has big big admiration within different communities. I love Android but from the time I started using iOs, I really don't see the need for that color of customization, and yeah, onetime, one girl gave me her number just because I had an iPhone. It is still seen as a model of hierarchy in many countries. am sorry but this is the damn truth...and it hurts.

Im a mobile developer for both and Im glad that you did a good in depth talk about them(Although I feel apple should have had a few more of those points). Apple is fine to use, but there are tons of restrictions placed by apple on their software. People who aren't technical or just are apple fanboys(Great marketing) don't seem to want to give Samsung and Android a chance. People don't get upset because someone found something they like better than Apple/iPhones. You guys aren't on Apples payroll, calm down....They have great marketing to trap you into their ecosystem(android a little too) but you have options....Don't bash android just because you don't understand their underlying software and hardware at all...
Hey, I use the S Pen a lot to translate languages in games. It's a must-have feature for me. No phone is worth it without the S Pen. 😊
Ultra is Ultra
Samsung was losing value over time because of no OS updates. While iPhones always had 5+ years of sotware updates. I believe S24 Ultra will keep the value better in the future

@@TheMichaelparis Samsung S23U received functions from Samsung S24U. Updates come regularly every month. Updating to a higher version of Android is one of the fastest.

What about Home customizing, Dex & multitasking ?
S24U one week in and moisture sensor in the charging port broke. In the past i had 4S/6S (used them 4-5 years each) and never had an issue with the ports. So i got 15pro max and now i am happy. Also had S10 Plus after 6S, and it was giving me port troubles as well.
Samsung replaced my S24U but i didn't even bother setting it up, its just sitting collecting dust.
These reviews and reviewers are after clicks only. They know the s24U is the newest tech out and by telling people what they want to hear they’ll get the clicks they need to pay the bills. Most of these guys (and gals) are picking their iPhones right back up after the videos are done. Samsung has horrible build quality compared to iPhone, I’ve had/have both and they aren’t even close, and the battery life comparison? Completely skewed and false, my s24U gets about 5-6 hours MAX before it’s gone while my iPhone 15PM still has 50% or better… these guys just want the clicks… wait till the new iPhone comes out and it’ll be reversed… it’s all for the clicks.

no hate or anything, the features are great, but realistically its like this:
>advertise the features as if they were exclusive for the model
>advertise 7 year support for the device
>put a fine print at the bottom, that the AI features you advertised are actually googles, and soon for most of supported devices
>and they will be paid features in two years, so in less than 1/3 of the new support time
