@@nunyabizness9216 I wonder if the customer would typically hydro test the tank before commissioning? I believe this is standard practice when commissioning a used air tank, though I'm not sure if it would be clear that these are untested from the factory.
In pakistan, where these "non certified" air tanks are build,millions of these are "successfully" use and the customers are "happy" enough to the "performance" of these tanks ! ! !i think soapy water is "enough" to "test" 😜😜😜😜😜😜

Опрессовка божественна, накачать пару атмосфер и водичкой полить. Потом если на 10 атм бахнет то в радиусе 5 м может просто взрывной волной убить, даже если осколки не попадут. Мне все интересно было как они 500л воды из баллона в баллон перекачивают, ведь опрессовывают их гидравликой под давлением в 20атм.

в торце больших ресиверов есть заглушка, через которую и сливается вода. Ресивер просто наклоняют и включают воздух - 20 сек и баллон пустой.

My positive thinking says that they have stamping machine for the end cap. Because if they have hydraulic cutting machine also they may have hydraulic stamping machine. 2nd choice order from other vendor

This is not MIG, but SAW, why do you think that everything welded with a semi-automatic welding machine is method 131, and this is mainly method 135 (MAG)

That's exactly what they've done!
The condition of the work piece was appalling, with extensive corrosion on the inner surface.
The cheapest, Chinese manufactured compressor on ebay will have a tank that exceeds the quality of this in every way.
The workplace was a filthy, littered floor, the work pieces were scrap metal.
The feet of the tank were made from better quality steel than the tank!
When I bought my oilless Hyundai silent compressor I also bought a can of petrol tank liner, an epoxy treatment applied to rusty motorcycle petrol tanks.
This treats and seals the inner surface of the steel tank and prevents rust from forming.
@@felixcat9318 ...To add to that no hydraulic tests, condensate drain not at the exact bottom and the cylinder shell weld right at the bottom to be exposed to condensation all the time.

It doesn't make any difference because there is water in the air and because of expansion and contraction the paint will let the moisture through and it will rust anyway. That is why there is a drain off at the bottom of the tank.
@@geoffankrett7012 You don't know what the hell you are talking about, you don't think paint is more elastic than steel? if so you have never fabricated anything in your life. Go buy an unlined hot water cylinder, see how you get on, o right they don't exist. There is a drain to remove condensate, an unlined air compressor tank eventually becomes a corroded lethal bomb no matter how often you drain it.
@@m3chanist I came top of my class in engineering and I can safely say you don't understand what I'm talking about. I've only been fabricating for around fourty five years and it was good enough for the nuclear industry. Sorry you haven't got a clue about what I was talking about

A Kompresor in Polish is a compressor, they make them for a Polish company, I have a compressor myself. P.S. this company produces the same tanks the rest of China
How do they pressure test these tanks, if they use water fill to test its safe, BUT if they test with air fill and there is a rupture it could be a bomb !! Their manufacturing process looks good though.
They tested the air leak with water from outside while the tank is air filled.

This is a very small budgeted factory. Larger factories which actually adopt safety measures usually don't allow TH-camrs in their premises. I don't know why.
Y aguantara la presión, en mi experiencia los tanques deben ser de un material más grueso, eso parece un bomba neumática que explotara si el interior se oxida y corroe y se adelgaza la lámina 🥺
Lo mismo pensé yo se miro la lámina muy delgada como las parrillas de asar carne de las tiendas

No need, because lifespan of pressure containers is restricted. Take a look at their specification plates.
@@JohnDoe-es5xh Agreed, but the specifications plate has a manufacturing date not expiry date. Atleast the air compressor I have does not have any lifespan mentioned. It only has manufacturing date of 2021.
