Мойка и покраска вышла на новый уровень , Теперь новый прокладки и герметик , а не просто помыл-покрасил-готово.=))) Ждём , когда будут новые вкладыши, шлифовка , новые кольца и поршни , думаю через годик увидим. Это не реставрация , а техническое обслуживание !!!

Well, considering that most people are used to small Home Depot type units, yes this is "Giant". It's a Saylor Beall model 707 which is a 7.5 to 10hp pump. I've worked on 400hp machines where you need a ladder to reach the heads, and a block and tackle to remove parts. What gets me about this video is that they didn't tackle the most important part of the unit... The valves.

I have tried many times and decided to use stainless steel welding rod to weld cast iron, the result is beyond my imagination. I recommend you to try it.

I can't believe u painted all the gasket surfaces of the compressor block!!! Also i can see the pistons are smeared with rtv sealant!!!! The lack of enthusiasm during the assembly process really hurts my feelings 🥺

Радиаторную часть цилиндров красить нельзя, так как снижается теплоотвод при работе, следовательно, в емкость попадает больше конденсата и это способствует более быстрой коррозии воздушного баллона.

While that one came with high quality metal wheels it's worth mentioning you can add them to any horizontal compressor. (I use 8" scaffolding caster wheels because they slide into simple pipe mounts so one set can move many machines and machine tools.) Collecting all the old large diameter wheels you can makes life easy. Everything in my shop rolls.

How did you assemble pistons with out ring compresser? And no hone?
The factory makes beveled cylinders, you just need to choose. It's very simple

In my opinion, repair air compressor

Make sure the tank is still safe to use. Weak tanks are dangerous, because it's basically a bomb.
The compressed air tank is still thick. Only the paint is slightly peeled off. It is absolutely safe for users. The air pressure is up to 14 pounds.

@@jorismk1 and how about corrosion on the inside? its the inside that have most of the problems, not on the outside
@@killzone89 Yes, thats why you pressure test it with water. Water does not compress so if it fails it will not explode but just crack...
