Companies buying, making these compressor tanks - pumps , this has opened my eyes to how poor and non treated steel - components used ! Matter of time before someone or an accident has to happen in the resulting of life , to investigate where these are made and how there made !!!!!
You got to have a pressure vessel stamp anyway in order to manufacture these. Most companies have get the certs from the factory who made the plate on the material where they can tell the date, time, place and maker

Pressure test with air! In Germany absolutely forbidden. Only with water it is allowed. Because of too many bursting pressure vessels in Germany, the forerunner of TÜV was founded on January 6, 1866. And that's good.
These guys are in year 1850 - so no TUV for them.

In all fairness, compared to many other vids the end result of the welding is quite reasonable.
@@505premotoplenty of paints are designed to do this type of job. Just paint over slight scale of rust. It converts that to primer and sticks beter to surface. Nothing unusual is done here
No safety pressure relief valve installed. Look out if that motor contractor fails closed. Boom.

Thats for damn sure. My friend had a cheap Chinese compressor blow up in his shop a couple years ago.. Blew out all 6 windows and put a 3 foot hole through the wall. Busted one rafter and put a 12 inch hole in the roof.. Luckly they were in the house eating dinner when they heard it explode. The store replaced the compressor but wouldnt pay for the damages.@@ernestcotton9324
What’s the burst pressure of that tank ? I’d doubt it’s anywhere close to the 150psi working pressure of an air tank ..🤷🏽♂️ .

И что не так с ресивером? Думаете если покупаете шмотки брендовые, то 100% безопасность? Главное что бы клапан работал правильно, и не взорвется ресивер.
Это шайтан-машина для быстрой встречи со всевышним . Лучше купить самый дешёвый китайский компрессор , на нём есть хотя бы все атрибуты защиты и автоматики .
черная каробулька сбоку это и есть реле давления на али продают.
@@spk1571каждый произведённый ресивер на производстве проходит жёсткие испытания повышенным давлением , сдесь сварили 8 бар дали не дует нигде , и сойдёт .

We have the Pressure Systems Safety Regs 2000 here in the UK that requires employers to have air receivers operating at greater than 250 bar / litres thoroughly examined by a competent person on a routine basis. This is because of the immense amount of stored energy within an air receiver. As someone else has rightly commented, I wouldnt get within 100 metres of one of these air receivers!!!!

Даже если электродвигатель на каждое изделие устанавливается индивидуальный. Сделайте прорези для его сдвижения относительно компрессора для натяжения ремня.
Это трудоёмко. Прорези нужно вырезать или вырубать на этапе раскроя листа. На баллоне их уже не спозиционировать с компрессором. Только если на двигатель и компрессор изготавливать общий кронштейн

Crikey, that's scary! 10 bar tank was tested for leaks with a garden hose off domestic water supply - pressure unlikely to be more than 4 bar, probably a lot less. 2-conductor mains cord fitted, no earth. No check for leaks inside the machine mountings. Inside of machine mountings not painted - will rust out. It is a sort of very long delay BOMB!
Air recciver tanks are pressure vessels, and as such come under national safety codes - there's no way these units come anywhere near code requirements, they are killers.

Applicable international codes include ISO-1217-2009, ISO-3587-x-1977, EN-1012. The country in this video appears to be Pakistan. Officially, the Pakistan government requires compliance with ISO standards.

More likely to rust from the inside where the overlapped seam is at the bottom, than from outside between the legs…
It a bit like the body shop at the old British Leyland. All the body shells were already rusty before they were painted. Its amazing what a coat of paint hides.

Pressure testing needs to be done with water at a pressure higher than the designed working pressure. The tank should have a high pressure relief valve.

У меня был индийский компрессор фирмы Midco, ресивер на 500 литров. Отличный аппарат. Окрашен был кстати таким же изумрудным цветом краски.
И тоже с песком по ржавчине покрашен?
@@user-xj1qo1yh2s , вы знаете, да. Он был окрашен по голому металлу без грунта. Облит краской по факту полной сборки агрегата. Но, если учесть что год его выпуска 1976года, это всё исправно работает по сей день. Парадокс.

Необязательно! Смотря какие применяются электроды.Если LB52 с кристалической обмазкой/ электроды с основным покрытием то они сами всю грязь поднимают на вверх ввиде шлака. Рутиловые электроды требуют зачистки будущего сварного шва,так как они не вычищают грязь из сварочной ванны,но зато ими легко прихватывать метал короткой дугой.

Молодцы. Все оборудование 1920 годов, но оно работает. И люди на нем изготавливают разные изделия. В нашей стране нодо поощерять и открывать такие маленткие мастерские на ряду с большими заводами. Будущее за тех развитием. В СССР в каждой школе были мастерские, я сам обучался в такой, а сечис нас делают потребителями что бы мы были зависимыми вовсем .

I don't think we should criticize these men making something that works under the circumstances they are living under. All things considered, this is a good job. Of course compressor tanks can explode and be dangerous. But, if you live in a poor environment you take more chances. It's the same kind of chances with everything when it comes to being poor. Get it done or don't get it done. Eat or starve

At the time I also created a device, when it was very little used commercially. Certainly the safety standards are not ours. But this artisanal work is not trivial. And the separate motor and pump and belt system is better suited in these countries, than a monobloc combination, where as soon as there is a breakdown, it will end up in the trash. Thinking about it a little... I don't say anything anymore. 😐

I usually watch a lot of videos of work in Pakistan and they surprise me with how they do it,but I think that compressor is not very safe, starting with the rusted materials and the lack of overpressure protection 😳

No rust inhibitor, paint or rust converter inside the tank.
The overlap weld is sketchy af and ofcourse is on the bottom where moisture acumulates.
Secondary pressure release valve is probably the weakest weld.
Let us pray that there is a ground connection someware, touching bare metal.
